Former US tennis great John McEnroe admits to feeling the effect of ageing in an interview with Swedish newspaper Expressen. McEnroe, 47, was conducting a joint interview with Swedish tennis legend and long-time friend Bjorn Borg.

"The older we get, the more difficult it is for us," he said in reference to his match against Borg in November.
"Bjorn moves quicker than I do but we will both be so old soon that people are hardly going to ask us to play each other another time," he joked.
The former World Number One actually made a successful return to the tour last season, winning the San Jose doubles tournament with Jonas Bjorkman in 2006 to become the oldest tour champion in 30 years.
McEnroe also said that he misses the cut and thrust of professional tennis.
"I miss the excitement, everything around me. It was a magic era."
He also envies Borg's physical and mental pace and strength, admitting that he himself is "a bit crazy."
"That made it hard for me to cope with things the way Bjorn did."
Borg retired from Tennis aged 26, which McEnroe claims is the only time he was angry with the Swedish legend.
"I was actually pissed because from my perspective it was a selfish decision," McEnroe said. "I told him he was crazy, that tennis was good for both of us."
Borg himself accused McEnroe of being unable to relax, joking that "John wants to be seen and not heard."
McEnroe responded by claiming that "if I don't yell at the umpire somebody will ask what's wrong with me!"
