So that clears up absolutely nothing as to who goes through to the semi-finals! Federer is in the driving seat but with Murray and Soderling both on one win and one loss apeice (all in straight sets) this could still go in any direction, including Federer not getting through, should Soderling beat him in straight sets on Thursday!

MATCH! Soderling once again finds himself just two points from victory at 30-30. But a forehand into the net, after running round the ball, hands Ferrer a game point. Soderling gets himself back level with a more successful forehand winner this time and a Ferrer forehand long hands the Swede match point. And this time he does wrap up the win - a blistering off-forehand across court proving too much for Ferrer as he drills the ball wide back across court
6-5
Ferrer only narrowly misses a backhand passing shot into the top of the net. That would have brought up another break point although as it is, it's game point Soderling. The Swede fails to take advantage of his first chance but does hold at the second opportunity when Ferrer hits into the net and the Spaniard will once again have to serve to stay in this match
5-5
Soderling is beginning to lose his cool now as he sends a cross court forehand into the net on his way to helping Ferrer hold to love and level things up once again. The Spaniard seals it with a forehand winner down the line and the momentum is completely changing now

BREAK! Ferrer's forehand is called long of the baseline which would hand Soderling a match point, but the Spaniard challenges immediately and is shown to be right leaving the point to be replayed. And this time Soderling hits into the net to hand Ferrer a break back point. Which he takes full advantage of to get things back on serve. The Spaniard will still have to serve to stay in it though, after a quick sit down mind you!
5-3
Soderling fires a slap-happy forehand well long of the baseline to hand Ferrer two game points before taking one away with a pacey forehand winner down the line. The Spaniard then sends a backhand passing shot well wide across court to allow Soderling to level up at deuce but he recovers in time to hold and force Soderling to serve out the clash
5-2
A quick and easy service hold by Soderling consolidates the break to leave Ferrer serving to stay in the match after the change of ends

BREAK! Or maybe not. Ferrer quickly finds himself having to defend yet another break point. And despite some brilliant defence, including a fantastic backhand that he picks up off his heel after over-running a smash from Soderling, the Swede does grab the break at the first attempt, sealing it with a forehand overhead winner
3-2
After a couple of battling service games we appear to be back on track as Soderling matches Ferrer's hold to 15 with one of his own as the Spaniard sends consecutive forehands long of the baseline
2-2
Ferrer looks set to cruise through a love service hold before an off-forehand drops just long to give Soderling a point in the game. But it is just the one point though as the Swede hits into the net after a baseline exchange and surprise, surprise we're all square once again
2-1
Soderling steps up inside the court to whip a cross court forehand away for a winner to get himself off the mark at 0-30 down, before an off-forehand of Ferrer's drifts just wide to allow the Swede to level up.And he goes on to hold when a backhand off Ferrer's drops just long. It was a bit of a late call but the Swede would have stopped that point if it'd hadn't been called and had already stopped playing
1-1
Soderling flirts with the line on a sliced backhand across court but cannot make his offense tell as he goes on to dump a backhand down the line into the net to squander another break point. And the Spaniard goes on to hold, albeit at his second attempt, when Soderling sends another backhand long of the line
1-0
Soderling holds for the opening game of the second set, albeit not before squandering a first game point with a poor forehand long. Ferrer hits into the net at 40-30 though and Soderling has his first hold of this second set under his belt

SET! Soderling earns himself two set points as he ghosts into the net behind a forehand into the corner and drills a shoulder-height forehand volley down into the court. Ferrer saves the both with solid enough serves that Soderling can only hit into the net and long respectively but a backhand into the net from the Spaniard gives Soderling a third chance. Soderling hits wide (unsuccessfully challenged) but finally, angrily, gets it on the fourth attempt with a forehand winner down the line.
6-5
Ferrer will have to go through it all once again though as Soderling posts a very speedy hold to love, culminating in a Spanish forehand return that lands long of the baseline
5-5
Ferrer produces a nasty, dipping backhand across court, that Soderilng can only volley wide, before getting a little lucky as the net helps him fashion the perfect drop shot that the Swede can only hit into the net. A off-forehand volley winner across court and another ace down the centre of the court later and Ferrer has the hold that sees him level up yet again
5-4
Soderling leaves himself potentially just one game away from taking this first set as he holds to 15 yet again when a Ferrer forehand drops just marginally long of the baseline. The Spaniard thinks about challenging but decides not to after his camp suggest they think the ball was just long and he will have to serve to stay in this set after the change of ends
4-4
A much better, and quicker, service game for Ferrer this time around as he races through a hold to 15 with an ace down the centre of the court - just his second of the day
4-3
Wow, backhand winners are flinging about all over the place now as Soderling steps inside the baseline to batter one down the line before holding to love with another ace, his sixth, out wide
3-3
Soderling takes the first point against the Ferrer serve and consecutive backhand errors see the Spaniard hand Soderling his first break point. Ferrer saves it with a well-worked point that ends in a low forehand stop volley winner but Soderling gets a second chance when the Spaniard hits well-wide down the line. Again Ferrer saves it, this time with a backhand winner down the line after forcign Soderling onto the back foot and he goes on to hold when the Swede hits a backhand into the net
