GAME, SET AND MATCH! - DJOKOVIC 6-3 6-0 WAWRINKA. The demolition is complete as the world number one destroys Wawrinka in straight sets in just over an hour. The final set concludes in the blink of an eye with Nole serving out to 15. Fittingly he seals it with a sublime winner down the line.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 6-3 5-0 WAWRINKA. Wow. Wawrinka has gone to pieces but you have to admire the drive and hunger in Djokovic's game. He just won't let up and crushes his opponent once more to move within a service game of a bagel in what would be just over an hour.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 4-0 WAWRINKA. Nole consolidates the double break after a mid-game blip saw him squander a 30-0 lead. An overhit drop shot offers Wawrinka the chance to turn up the heat but he blows his opportunity with a strange shot beyond the baseline.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 6-3 3-0 WAWRINKA. This match is over. Djokovic is playing at an extremely high level at this juncture and Wawrinka's head looks to have gone. That means there can only be one outcome as the Swiss lashes a shot way out of court to drop serve to love.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 2-0 WAWRINKA. The world number one engages Wawrinka in some delightful rallies but continues to come up trumps when the pair face off at the net. A ridiculous pick-up on the angle is the highlight of the action and has both the crowd and Wawrinka applauding. In the end it's a comfortable hold to 15 that consolidates the break and leaves the Swiss in danger of being blown away in this second set.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 6-3 1-0 WAWRINKA. It's a crushing blow for Wawrinka as Djokovic immediately cranks up the heat to set up double break point at 15-40. The Swiss wins a challenge to fight off one but then blazes long following some intelligent defensive work by the Serb. The uphill task suddenly became a trip up Everest.

SET! - DJOKOVIC 6-3 WAWRINKA. A magnificent response from Novak who rattled off five games in a row after Stan had made the perfect start to the showdown with a break in the opener. The world number one couldn't quite make it six without reply but had no trouble serving out the first set to 15 and looks in ominously good form.
-
DJOKOVIC 5-3 WAWRINKA. Stan finally halts his alarming slump and at least makes Nole serve for the opener. It's arguably the game of the contest so far, as a second ace sees Wawrinka fight back from 15-30 to lead 40-30. The pair exchange some wonderful rallies, as well as the initiative, until the Swiss battles back from set point to secure an important psychological hold.
-
DJOKOVIC 5-2 WAWRINKA. The world number one is in the groove and honing in on the first set. Even a complacent and ill-timed drop shot at 15-15 can't help Wawrinka find a way back into it as the Swiss misfires on a couple of occasions to drop a fifth game on the run.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 4-2 WAWRINKA. The Serbinator is living up to his nickname as he mercilessly exploits Wawrinka's drop in confidence. A double fault tees the Serb up for triple break point before he seals the game to love with a sensational drop shot that allows him a simple pass into the empty court. Hard to see a way back into this for Wawrinka, even at this stage. He needs to dig himself out of this rut - and fast!
-
DJOKOVIC 3-2 WAWRINKA. At 40-0 Djokovic finally gifts Wawrinka some respite with a shot into the net. It's a brief reprieve for the Swiss who suddenly finds himself behind in the blink of an eye. The Serb looks to have settled into the contest and has wrestled the momentum away from his opponent. It'll be interesting to see how Stan responds after he spoke about a fragile mental approach to matches in the lead up to this encounter.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 2-2 WAWRINKA. Beware the wounded animal! Djokovic breaks to love as he makes it eight points in a row. A double fault and a terrible miscue that spirals high into the crowd compound Stan's misery as his quick start appears to have stalled. All square.
-
DJOKOVIC 1-2 WAWRINKA. It's the routine hold to love Djokovic would have hoped for in the opening game, but it at least gets him on the board and denies the Swiss the chance to exert any more pressure.
-
DJOKOVIC 0-2 WAWRINKA. It's another keenly-contested game that goes beyond deuce, but ultimately Wawrinka finds the weapons to recover from 0-30 and 30-40 to consolidate the break. A venomous crosscourt winner seals it and has the O2 crowd on their feet in appreciation.

BREAK! DJOKOVIC 0-1 WAWRINKA. If that first game is a microcosm of what is to come, then we are in for a treat. A hugely impressive and somewhat dismissive first point gets Djokovic off to a blistering start - but Wawrinka responds with a rasping winner on the run that sears down the line. It seems to fire up the Swiss who takes advantage of some surprising errors from Djokovic to tee up a break point at 30-40. The Australian Open champion trades blows with the world number one and claims two more break points before making the third count when Djokovic crashes a crosscourt attempt wide. The perfect start for the neutral.

Here we go then, Djokovic to serve...

The players are out on court and going through the pre-match formalities. Djokovic wins the coin toss and will serve first when we get underway in a couple of minutes.

DID YOU KNOW? Djokovic is aiming to emulate Ivan Lendl and become the first player to win three straight end of season finals. Lendl achieved the feat from 1985-87. There's also the small matter of the end of season number one spot at stake. If Nole comes through Group A with three wins out of three he will finish the season as world number one - even if Federer triumphs here and in the David Cup.

Wawrinka has the Tour's best stats in matches against the Top 10 this season, winning 88 per cent of his encounters. The Swiss' victory over Berdych earlier this week saw him improve his record to 7-1 in 2014.

In contrast, Wawrinka had won just two matches on ANY surface since the US Open prior to this event and has made no secret of his struggle for form. Speaking after his morale-boosting 6-1 6-1 Group A success over Berdych, Stan the Man said: "I've kept working hard in training and I never panicked. I knew my game was there. It was more the mental side that I needed to improve. When I feel good on the court, I'm ready to beat anybody..."
