Both players emerged triumphant from their respective first matches in Ivan Lendl group which means the winner here will all-but book their place in the semi finals. GAME, SET AND MATCH! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 7-6 RAONIC. Nole is into the semi finals! The Serb somehow pulls off victory after a tight, high quality encounter. The Serb took the final TB 7-5 after teeing up set point with an ace. Raonic missed his first serve and then dragged wide in the ensuing rally to hand victory to his opponent.

TIE BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 6-6 RAONIC. And... breathe. Raonic goes oh so close to pulling level. The nerves are etched on Novak's face and it offers up set point to his opponent at 30-40. The Serb hangs in as Milos blasts a forehand attempt down the line into the net. It's gutsy stuff form the world no.2 and he pulls off the hold to force the TB with a nicely disguised crosscourt pass.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 5-6 RAONIC. Milos with more missiles as his ace tally nudges up to 14 with a hold to 15. He's guaranteed another TB. Pressure on Novak next...

DJOKOVIC 7-6 5-5 RAONIC. Nervy moments for the Serbinator. A crushing forehand winner down the line gives Raonic hope at 15-30 but the Canadian slaps a backhand into the net when he is presented with a chance to pass. Djokovic recovers and makes parity.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-5 RAONIC. What a turnaround! Raonic dishes out the service bombs to close out an easy game to 15. He has the scoreboard advantage and Novak is now serving to stay in the set when his mind must have been on finishing the match.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-4 RAONIC. Where did that come from? Nole looks in the groove and is cruising at 30-0. But some strange shot-making even has the world number two questioning himself, pointing to his head as his lead slipped away. Raonic took full advantage and a limp shot into the net hands the Canadian a lifeline.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-3 RAONIC. A 12th ace of the match keeps Raonic within touching distance after an improving Djoker had pressed him to deuce.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-2 RAONIC. No errors this time for Novak. The Serb moves within sight of the finish line, cracking a backhand winner - only his second of the match - down the line to consolidate with a love hold.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 3-2 RAONIC. After working so hard to level - Raonic collapses on serve. Novak works himself to double break point by forcing the errors out of his opponent and punches the air as Milos slaps a tame shot into the net to hand the initiative back to the world number two.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-2 RAONIC. Finally! Raonic lashes a forehand winner down the line with Djokovic exposed at the net to grab the break at the fifth time of asking. All square in the second set.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-1 RAONIC. Just what Raonic needed. He finds the serve once more and blasts his way to a love hold. he's on the board but has a lot of work to do if he's to somehow turn this around against an opponent he has a woeful history against.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-0 RAONIC. Nole is forced to dig in and save another BP before consolidating form deuce. Raonic's shoulders could well be starting to slump. He's had some good chances in this match.
