GAME, SET & MATCH - DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 6-1 LACKO - Djokovic closes out the match in style, racing through the final game to secure his place in the second round. Lacko did, at times, cause the Serb problems, but, as expected, Djoko was just too good.

BREAK - DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 5-1 LACKO - Lacko looks like he just wants to get off court now. Djoko makes a drop shot from the back of the court which the Slovak gives up on. Lacko is 30-0 to the good, but can't close out the game and is broken. Not too much longer to go, Lukas.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 4-1 LACKO - The second seed is just going from strength-to-strength on his serve as he nears victory. Lacko is still sticking in there, but he knows what's coming, and you can tell...
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 3-1 LACKO - A much improved service game from Lacko. The Slovak finds similar sort of form to that of which saw him take Djoko to a tie-break in the second set. A comfortable hold to 15.

BREAK - DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 2-0 LACKO - As well as disheartened, Lacko looks visibly shattered now, too. The Slovak is breathing heavily and throws away his serve. That's an early break and Djokovic will want to finish this quickly now.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 7-6(2) 1-0 LACKO - Djokovic clearly senses the win now and races through his opening service game of this third set. Lacko looks slightly disheartened after keeping pace with the Serb througout the entirety of the second stanza, only to take a bludgeoning in the breaker.

DJOKOVIC 6-3 6-6 LACKO - Djokovic breezes through his service game once more. Lacko just doesn't cause him any trouble and, judging on recent service games, you'd think that the second seed will go on to take this breaker.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 5-6 LACKO - Really terrific tennis from Lacko. He looks down and out on various points throughout the game, and seems to be on the way to being broken. But he turns on the style, hitting outrageous winners from the baseline. Djokovic claps the first one, but then appears visibly more annoyed as the Slovak finds the lines again and again.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 5-5 LACKO - That's the easiest hold of the day, and it will be welcomed by the second seed. Lacko makes contact with the ball on two occasions, sending both returns long. Still on serve.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 4-5 LACKO - Djokovic earns the first break point of this set with some ferocious hitting on the return, but Lacko's brave and opts to serve-volley, successfully. The Slovak goes on to hold, leaving Djoko to gesticulate towards his team once more. The Serb will now serve to stay in the set.

-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 4-3 LACKO - Lacko is really playing with fire here. He again goes down 0-30, but serves his way out of trouble. Djokovic sensed the chance of a break and looks disappointed to be behind in this set.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 LACKO - The longest rally of the contest so far - 19 strokes - has the crowd on their feet. The two players trade blows from the baseline, and it looks for all the world like Lacko is to win the point with a monstrous cross-court forehand, but the Djoker slides to send a sliced winner down the line. Incredible. He goes on to hold.
-
DJOKOVIC 6-3 2-3 LACKO - Terrific hold for Lacko after being 0-30 down. The Slovak keeps his cool and doesn't panic, serving intelligently to retake the lead in this close second set.
