After reaching the semi-finals here last year and winning the ATP Finals, big things are expected of Stefanos Tsitsipas. And he makes a fine start, holding serve to 15.

GAME, SET AND MATCH - STEFANOS TSITSIPAS! The Greek sixth seed is through to the second round with a comprehensive 6-0 6-2 6-3 win over Salvatore Caruso. Very impressive.

It doesn't look as though Tsitsipas will have to wait much longer to book his place in the second round. Caruso is undergoing treatment on a cut finger and has barely been able to cope with the Greek when at full fitness. It's 4-1 in the third set.

He had to work marginally harder for it, but the second set has gone the way of Stefanos Tsitsipas, much like the first. It's 6-0, 6-2 to the Greek and it's hard to see this being anything but a straight sets win.

It's not the procession it was in the first set but Stefanos Tsitsipas has the lead in the second. It's 4-1, but Caruso has been battling hard on serve.

Huge cheers from Caruso's box as he finally gets on the board, and he did it the hard way too, saving yet another break point in a lengthy service game.

That was about as easy a set of Grand Slam tennis that Stefanos Tsitsipas will ever win. It's 6-0, he's won every point on his first serve and converted all three of his break point chances. By contrast, Caruso won just seven points in those six games and one of them was from a double fault.

Is Stefanos Tsitsipas gunning for a bagel? He leads Caruso 5-0 and the Italian is all over the shop. This could be messy.

It's been a very strong start from the Greek, who now leads 3-0. How will Caruso respond to such a tough start?
