Good morning and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Australian Open men's singles third round match between Cameron Norrie and Rafael Nadal. This is the one we have been waiting for from a British perspective. Norrie is the last British man standing at this year's Australian Open. Nadal is, of course, among the favourites to win the tournament. He will take some stopping!

That was a very good effort from Norrie, but Nadal just had too much for him in the end. It feels like the number two seed will need to lift his performance levels if he is to go all the way at this year's Australian Open, but he did enough here. Fognini is next up for Nadal.

Once again, the scoreboard pressure is on Norrie after a relatively comfortable hold from Nadal. Some of the reactions to those points suggest Nadal feels he's in a real match here!

Norrie isn't going away in this third set. That was a comfortable hold for the Brit. Most would have assumed Nadal would be right on top of Norrie's serve at this point of the match to get the job done, but that hasn't been the case.

Nadal is now a game away from a place in the fourth round. There was some pressure on the Spaniard at 30-30 in that game, but he tightened things up and Norrie now has to respond to stay in this match.

Nadal found some really good depth on some of his shots there, forcing Norrie into some difficult positions, but the Brit comes up with a couple big serves (as well as a double fault) to hold again.

As well as Norrie is doing to keep this competitive, he hasn't had a genuine look at the Nadal serve for quite some time. This is another comfortable hold for the world number two.

Well, the charge I predicted didn't materialise as Norrie holds to love. The Brit has managed to maintain his focus here when it looked like it might disappear at the end of the second set.

There's just no let up from Nadal as he secures another comfortable hold. This has been a tougher encounter than the scoreboard suggests and so the Spaniard will want to get this match done quickly. Expect a charge in this next game!

There's the break in this second set. Nadal clinches the first of three break points with an overhead at the net. The difference between the two players can be found when Nadal ramps up his forehand on the run.

Nadal holds and the scoreboard pressure is back on Norrie as we near the business end of the second set. The way Norrie is looping shots to the back of the court is unsettling Nadal a bit.
