CLIJSTERS 6-3 7-6 (4) - There it is! All over on Rod Laver Arena! Radwanska hits the net and Kim sets up two match points! She only needs one and the number three seed moves into the semi-finals, where she will face Vera Zvonareva!
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 6-6 TIE BREAK 4-4 - Nothing to separate these two so far as Clijsters hammers a forehand winner down the line!
-
CLIJSTERS 6-6 - Dan, no there are no special dispensations for Polish players this year and Radwanska, like anyone else, needs two sets to win this match. Thanks for pointing out the deliberate typo, it's been changed.
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 6-6 - When Radwanska needs to hold his serve she does! He races to a 40-0 lead before Kim hits one out and she holds serve! We're heading into a tie break... Kim is 6-0 in such situations, so she'll be confident here.
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 6-5 - What a backhand by Clijsters! She slices it past Radwanska who races to the net but can only watch as the ball flies past her. And the Belgian goes on to hold serve! One break away from the match as the Roulettes continue to do their fly-bys, much to the delight of the crowd!

CLIJSTERS 6-3 5-5 - You could almost script it - Kim breaks once again to level things up as a plane formation akin the Red Arrows roars overhead to cheers from the crowd. Clijsters has to work for this one though. More distractions to come tonight with fireworks scheduled for Rafa's match with Ferrer.

CLIJSTERS 6-3 4-5 - Kim aces and then twice double faults - there are her fifth and sixth of the match. She's a bit like the Melbourne weather with her serve - blowing hot and cold. And a wayward backhand sees Radwanska break once again! The Pole will now serve for the set!
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 4-4 - Radwanska confirms her break with a rare held service game and it's all level at 4-4 in the second set! Plenty of intrigue left in this one...

CLIJSTERS 6-3 4-2 - Kim brings up two break points, but only needs one! She takes the advantage at a critical time in the second set! Is that that? Maybe, but first comes a service game, so nothing should be taken for advantage.
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 3-2 - Kim serves out a love game - the first time she has managed to do so this match - to edge ahead once more in the second set.
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 2-2 - Kim elicits applause from her opponent with a lovely lob which Radwanska has no answer to before she brings up break point with an equally impressive flicked backhand across court! Kim wastes the opportunity though with an unforced error - and another one soon after - before Radwanska manages to hold. Still on serve in the second set.

CLIJSTERS 6-3 2-1 - Clijsters is made to work very hard for the next game. Several deuces later and she finally hits a winner to hold and sneak ahead in the second set, which is for the moment on serve.
-
CLIJSTERS 6-3 1-1 - Radwanska saves a break point on her way to an important hold. Another break there and the Pole would have been facing a real mountain to climb.

CLIJSTERS 6-3 - An exquisite back hand from Kim is swiftly followed by a forehand winner before she brings up two break - and set - points when Radwanska hits the net. But that's a lovely drop shot to save the first - ballsy - but there's nothing she can do on the second as Kim takes the first set 6-3!
-
CLIJSTERS 5-3 - That's a better service game from Kim. A lovely forehand volley brings up game point before Radwanska fails to return. The Pole now has to hold serve to stay in the firs set.
-
CLIJSTERS 4-3 - Radwanska does well to close the gap to a single game by holding serve - now there's a turn up for the books.
