AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 6-2 - GAME, SET & MATCH - Radwanska's drop shot lets her down again as Azarenka races to 30-0 up and when the Pole hits one long on the next point, the Belarusian has three match points. The first is saved by an excellent winner down the line, as is the second as Azarenka goes long. But on the third one, she wallops a smash home and she moves into the semis where she'll play either Caroline Wozniacki or Kim Clijsters.

AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 5-2 - Despite a wayward volley, Radwanska manages to get to two break points as Azarenka's serve begins to falter. At least the Belarusian's groundstrokes are still working and she saves the first one before her serve finally works and she draws level at deuce. Another big serve later and she has game point, which she takes as she puts away at the net. Big, big hold. And she's one away from he match.

AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 4-2 -BREAK - This is a big game for Radwanska to hold now but she crumbles in the first three points, handing Azarenka a handful of break points. A great shot saves the first but when Azarenka fires a backhand winner back past her on the next point, that two-game lead is opened up once again.

AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 3-2 - BREAK - Well, well, well! Azarenka throws down two double faults as she appears to let her concentration slip a little. Radwanska then fires a great backhand winner, right on the line, to bring up two break points. And she breaks back immediately, and perhaps this one's not as cut and dry as it looked a game ago! Pressure getting to Azarenka!

AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 3-1 - BREAK - Azarenka brings up break point with a swift move to the net and a confident smash and she's playing with a real swagger now. She seals the game as she manoeuvres Radwanska around the court before moving in again and winning the point with a drive volley. Excellent play, and she takes a two-game lead in this deciding set.
-
AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 2-1 - Azarenka's pumped here - she clenches her fist as Radwanska shanks a return on the opening point before she generates some awesome power to dispose of a smash at the net. She then wrong-foots Radwanska on her forehand before another forehand winner seals the game to love. Azarenka is definitely looking the stronger of the two at the moment, and you wouldn't bet against the Belarusian booking a semi-final place now.
-
AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 1-1 - That's better from Radwanska as she fires a forehand winner past Azarenka and when the Belarusian hits the net on the next point, the Pole has three game points. Azarenka pulls back with a vicious forehand winner before another one - which is called out but correctly challenged - gives her hope. But Radwanska holds her nerve - and her serve - and the next point to level at one apiece in the decider.
-
AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 1-0 - Azarenka continues her push for the semi-finals - what will be just her second Grand Slam semi appearance after Wimbledon last year - as she holds to 15 in the opening game of the third set. Aggie attempts a drop-shot at 15-40 down but it's easy for Azarenka to pick it this time. She's on it in a flash and she's up and running this set.

AZARENKA 6-7 6-0 - SET - Radwanska's serve continues to let her down this set as she double faults twice. They help bring up three break points for Azarenka, who takes the set at the second opportunity! A barn-storming recovery from the third seed, who looks the fresher of the two at the moment!
-
AZARENKA 6-7 5-0 - Azarenka fires her 22nd winner of the day to bring up game point and she wastes no time in taking a five-game lead! What a recovery from the Belarusian, whose on the verge of levelling things up at one set all!

AZARENKA 6-7 4-0 - BREAK - The mercury has hit 33 degrees in Melbourne - and it's only going to get hotter - but for the moment Azarenka doesn't seem bothered. A stunning return of serve brings up break point and she takes it as Radwanska is the architect of her own downfall with a double fault.
-
AZARENKA 6-7 3-0 - Radwanska's drop shot fails her for once and Azarenka capitalises to go 40-15 up. She then fires a backhand winner down the line to claim the game and help recover from the disappointment of dropping that first set. That's two held service games for the third seed this set. So much better than the in the opener.

AZARENKA 6-7 2-0 - BREAK - Radwanska pulls a stunning shot out of the bag, reaching a ball at the net she had no right to before sending it back over at the finest of angles to win the point! But a net cord doesn't work in her favour at 30-30 and she faces break point again. Azarenka takes it and the Belarusian is looking good with a two-game lead in the second set!
-
AZARENKA 6-7 1-0 - Remember Azarenka said last week that sometimes she needed to get angry to get herself going? Well, started to shout at herself. It seems to work as she holds serve in the opening game of the second set.

AZARENKA 6-7 - SET - Prior to this game, neither of these girls had won a tie-break in Melbourne this year. Obviously, that stat changes as Radwanska storms to claim it to love and with it the first set! The Pole races out of the blocks to take a 4-0 lead, hitting an ace to make it 5-0. A double fault from Azarenka then brings up six set points... and she takes it at the first time of asking! That first set prove crucial, given the heat today.

AZARENKA 6-6 - TIE-BREAK - Radwanska is landing some outstanding drop shots today - another cracker sees her take a 30-0 lead. The Pole then wins a lengthy rally as Azarenka goes long and she has three chances to break back and send this set to tie-breaker. But some poor shot making sees her lose all three points. The errors continue as Azarenka then goes long again - twice - and we are indeed heading towards a tie-breaker!

AZARENKA 6-5 - BREAK - Normal service is resumed this game as Azarenka brings up two break points. A challenged call goes in Radwanska's favour on the first but on the second she drops serve yet again and Azarenka will now attempt to hold her own serve to take the first set.
-
AZARENKA 5-5 - At the changeover the crowd start to mimic Azarenka's grunts. She's reaching 91.4 decibels, which is pretty tinnitus-inducing. Is she going to let that affect her today? Not just yet, as the third seed races to 40-0 and when Radwanska fires a return wide on the next point, she holds serve for just the second time.
