GAME, SET AND MATCH - RADWANSKA 6-4 6-3 MUGURUZA - Muguruza does brilliantly well to take a point in teh game when Radwanska just gets everything back. Eventually the Spaniard finds a forehand passing shot winner down the line but still Radwanska earns herself two match points. Both go begging much to the disgust of the Pole but she gets a third chance and this time she does wrap things up with a flat forehand down the centre of the court that Muguruza can only net in reply.
-
RADWANSKA 6-4 5-3 MUGURUZA - Radwanska does not do nearly enough with a drop and lob combo and Muguuza produces an easy smash. A momentary blip in concentration from Radwanska and a forehand long hand Muguruza a break back point, almost out of nowhere, but while she fails to take advantage, she also gets a second chance. This one goes begging as well though and Radwanska goes on to hold and leave Muguruza serving to stay in the match.
-
RADWANSKA 6-4 4-3 - Great hold from Muguruza as she twists on consecutive forehands across court and brings up almost identilcal points. Radwanska challeges the first, wrongly as it turns out, and the second she accepts because it is clearly a winner.
-
RADWANSKA 6-1 4-2 MUGURUZA - Even Muguruza's favoured shots are not coming off not as Radwanska eases through a love service hold to consolidate the break, the Spaniard pushing a forehand long across court to end the game.

BREAK - RADWANSKA 6-1 3-2 MUGURUZA - Muguruza does well to take a little bit off the bal land put a high forehand volley back behind Radwanska to peg one point back at 0-30 down. But a cross court forehand wide hands Radwanska two more break points and then she pulls up on a cross court backhand, sending the ball wide and conceding the break.
-
RADWANSKA 6-1 2-2 MUGURUZA - Radwanska quickly follows a poor serve that Muguruza duly punishes with a 154kph first serve ace to hold quickly once again and ask the Spaniard to serve again far sooner than she would like.
-
RADWANSKA 6-1 1-2 MUGURUZA - Great work again from Muguruza on serve as she not only produces an ace to sneak ahead before going on to hold to 30 with a decent serve that Radwanska cannot get back in play.
-
RADWANSKA 6-1 1-1 MUGURUZA - Radwanska fires down another well-placed first serve out wide, which Muguruza cannot return over the net even though she is right there. It's another comfortable and more importantly quick hold for the Pole to put all the pressure back on Muguruza.

-
RADWANSKA 6-1 0-1 MUGURUZA - Credit to Muguruza as she stops the rot and holds to 30 with a big first serve that Radwanska cannot return. There's a smattering of applause from the sparse crowd that has stayed to watch the match but that was a big hold for the 20-year-old.

37 minutes for the first four games, six minutes for the next three! Quite the acceleration from Radwanska to put one foot in the quarter-finals against Azarenka.

SET - RADWANSKA 6-1 MUGURUZA - Muguruza pulls up on a cross court backhand, directing the ball into the tramlines, to hand Radwanska her first set points. Only one is needed though as Radwanska batters a forehand winner across court.

BREAK - RADWANSKA 5-1 MUGURUZA - Radwanska has Muguruza completely frazzled at the moment and breaks again, this time to love, as the Spaniard struggles to find the court either off the forehand or backhand wing. The Pole will serve for the opening set next.
-
RADWANSKA 4-1 MUGURUZA - Just a few errors creeping into Muguruza's game in that last exchange as Radwanksa holds comparatively comfortably to 15. The Spaniard is left standing with her hand on her hip in frustration, staring at the Pole down the other end of the court. The ball just keeps coming back from Radwanska, the Pole with a brilliant pick-up that results in the hold when Muguruza sends her forehand long.

This is some battle. Already there are 38 minutes on the clock and only four games on the scoreboard!

BREAK - RADWANSKA 3-1 MUGURUZA - Radwanska feigns the drop shot but instead punches her forehand deep off the slice and causes Muguruza to hit long to bring about her first break point. Unusually, though, the Pole fails to take advantage of the chance and nets a forehand. A second chance also goes begging with some great hands on the drop shot by Muguruza and a third with a drop shot-lob winner combo from the Spaniard. But she does eventually break with a sensational backhand volley winner.
-
RADWANSKA 2-1 MUGURUZA - Radwanska unleashes a classic shot in her arsenal, anticipating the backhand out wide from Muguruza, tracking out there and just curling her backhand down the line for the perfect passing shot. The Pole does have to save a few break points (three to be precise) but does so by testing Muguruza before eventually holding after 10 minutes with a big serve out wide and a forehand volley out in the opposite direction.
