Bouchard, the most talented teenager on the WTA Tour at the moment, is through to her first ever quarter-finals of a Grand Slam where she will face resurgent former world number one Ana Ivanovic.

GAME, SET AND MATCH - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 6-0 DELLACQUA - Brilliant movement on to the ball from Bouchard as she crouches down to flick a forehand winner down the line on her way to bring up two match points. And the 19-year-old even looks a little surprised when Dellacqua's forehand drifts long of the baseline to put an end to the match.

BREAK - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 5-0 DELLACQUA - Dellacqua gets the crowd going by putting up a lob to test Bouchard's overhead. The Canadian opts not to hit it but to track back instead and as a result puts her forehand long. A double fault from Dellacqua, her fourth, hands Bouchard another break point and although the teenager cannot take advantage of it she does break at the second attempt when Dellacqua nets a forehand. Bouchard will serve for the match after the change of ends.

BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 4-0 DELLACQUA - Bouchard brings up two game points with a blistering first serve and forehand drive volley right on to the sideline that was much closer than it needed to be. But the Canadian only needs the one chance to hold and wraps it up when another forehand goes astray from Dellacqua. The Australian's challenge fading fast now.

BREAK - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 3-0 DELLACQUA - Bouchard is making it look quite easy now as she steps up inside the baseline and thumps away an agressive backhand return to get her on the front foot in the game. And Dellacqua never quite recovers, handing Bouchard the double break with a backhand wide across court despite having got the Canadian on the run by bossing the rally.

BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 2-0 DELLACQUA - Ouch! Bouchard opens with the most horrendous smash, that hits the back hoarding rather than the court anywhere. She also slaps down her first double fault of the match. But the young Canadian somehow finds a way to come through the hold to consolidate the break.

BREAK - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6-2 1-0 DELLACQUA - Dellacqua hesitates just before the forehand drive volley but decides to go down the line and not across court but it's enough to send the ball long and hand Bouchard a break point. The Canadian can't take advantage of it but does break at the second attempt when Dellacqua goes long with a forehand.

SET - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 6- 2 DELLACQUA - Another trip into the net and a forehand volley winner and Bouchard has two more set points to her name. But she only needs the one and levels the match with a big forehand that Dellacqua cannot return in play.

SET - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 5-2 DELLACQUA - Much more solid from Dellacqua although to be fair to the Aussie, she did not have to do too much as Bouchard slapped four consecutive errors to hand her opponent the game.
-
BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 5-1 DELLACQUA - Another trip into the net from Bouchard and she has the hold as her solid enough backhand volley across court can only be lobbed long Dellacqua, rapidly tracked back by the Canadian just in case. Dellacqua will have to sereve to stay in this set after the change of ends.

BREAK - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 4-1 DELLACQUA - Things are really flowing in the Canadian's direction now as she again comes into the net with devastating affect. Dellacqua's ground-strokes are just missing their mark now, although she somehow manages to find the outside of the line with a forehand down the line. Bouchard breaks though to double her advantage in this second set.
-
BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 3-1 DELLACQUA - Bouchard challenges an "out" call on game point off her forehand down the line. Hawkeye shows the ball was indeed in and the Canadian flashes a stern look at umpire Kadir Nouni to suggest he should be over-ruling on his own line.

BREAK - BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 2-1 DELLACQUA - Bouchard is all over anything short now as she races up to the net behind a forehand approach shot and puts away a high forehand volley into the open court to break.
-
BOUCHARD 6-7(5) 1-1 - Much better from Bouchard as she races through a service hold to 15 despite dropping the opening point of the game. The Canadian produces a more confident looking forehand winner and service winner in the middle of the game to help herself.
