MATCH - WOZNIACKI 6-1 6-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: With but the tiniest, most miniscule of lapses, Wozniacki powers through to the second round with a stellar performance. It's clear for all to see that increased aggression is the plan for her in 2013; only time will tell whether it is the right plan.

GAME - WOZNIACKI 6-1 5-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: Volleys gallore: First Wozniacki executes her most decisive volley yet, convincingly dispatching it down-the line; then Dominguez Lino comes up with another dash of magic was she caresses a perfectly weighted half-volley dropshot. But with Dominguez Lino having little to offer in most rallies, Wozniacki happily moves the ball from side to side on game point until the inevitable error comes. Wozniacki a game away from the second round.

BREAK - WOZNIACKI 6-1 4-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: Wozniacki well on her way now as more unforced errors from Dominguez Lino offer up yet another with little effort needed from the Dane.
GAME - WOZNIACKI 6-1 3-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: A netted forehand from Dominguez gifts Wozniacki back the break, but it was two points earlier where the show was stolen as Wozniacki was forced to desperately defend the net, improvising and shovelling the ball back to court in any which way before Dominguez comically netted her fifth attempt at a passing shot.

BREAK - WOZNIACKI 6-1 2-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: The revolution was short-lived, however. A series of piercing backhands are enough for Wozniacki to snatch back the break and level the second set at 2-2.

BREAK - WOZNIACKI 6-1 1-2 DOMINGUEZ LINO: After a so many shaky volleys somehow found their way into the court, Wozniacki chooses break point down for her first big muck-up in the forecourt. It does not bode well for any player when even Wozniacki's infamously weak forehand offers more penetration than anything they can offer, yet somehow Dominguez Lino has managed to temporarily turn the tide.

GAME - WOZNIACKI 6-0 1-1 DOMINGEZ LINO: At last, the Spaniard finds her way onto the scoreboard as a couple of distracted and charitable return errors from Wozniacki drive her to her first game.
GAME - WOZNIACKI 6-0 1-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: It's now 7-0 to the Dane, her seventh game sealed with yet another penetrating backhand winner followed by yet another loose unforced error from Dominguez Lino. Wozniacki has so far won 92% of points on her first serve.

SET - WOZNIACKI 6-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: A slice unforced error followed by a pitiful double fault on set point seals the Spaniard's fate with little fuss. A bagel served with Danish blue cheese.
GAME - WOZNIACKI 5-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: Up against a solid performance from the Great Wall of Denmark, the match is rapidly getting away from Dominguez Lino. A couple of missed returns and it’s another easy hold for Wozniacki.

BREAK - WOZNIACKI 4-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: Another game, another foray to the net. Despite a series of awkward and visibly uncomfortable volleys, the Dane has already won four points in the forecourt and wins another. With Dominguez Lino attempting to press and spraying forehand errors, the second break comes with far less difficulty.

GAME – WOZNIACKI 3-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: A touch of genius from Dominguez Lino as she follows up an average dropshot with a deft half volley into the open court. However, the difference is already clear with Wozniacki’s backhand powering her to another hold.

BREAK – WOZNIACKI 2-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: Yet another surprise as Wozniacki uncharacteristically unleashes on a flattened-out forehand winner. Two points later, normal service is resumed as it’s a high and loopy forehand forces the error from the tiny Spaniard. After squandering the first break point after a lengthy rally, Wozniacki throws down a sweet backhand return winner before finally breaking.

GAME - WOZNIACKI 1-0 DOMINGUEZ LINO: The perfect start for Wozniacki as she effortlessly holds to love. Incredibly, she found herself at the net twice and just about came away with the point each time. An unorthodox two-handed backhand volley winner closed it out.
