GAME, SET & MATCH - STOSUR 6-3 6-4 ZAKOPALOVA - After a truly rotten start to the second set in which she went 1-4 down, home-favourite Stosur manages five games back-to-back to win the match.
-
STOSUR 6-3 5-4 ZAKOPALOVA - Massive! What a massive hold for Stosur, who has fought back from 1-4 in this set to lead. That must've knocked the stuffing out of Zakopalova. Does she have it in her to hold serve?

BREAK - STOSUR 6-3 4-4 ZAKOPALOVA - She does it. She's back on level terms, and we're back on serve. It's a nightmare of a game for Zakopalova, who sends down a double fault, misses a couple of makeable forehands and sends a smash into the net.
-
STOSUR 6-3 3-4 ZAKOPALOVA - A monster hold for Stosur, who needed that to stay alive in this set. Both women have a number of chances to win the game, but the Aussie finds that little bit extra to grind out a couple of important points and secure the hold. If she can just break now...

BREAK - STOSUR 6-3 2-4 ZAKOPALOVA - We have the set's fourth consecutive break of serve, and it comes in a hugely fortunate manner. Stosur does well to fashion a break point, but is on the defensive when Zakopalova is servnig at 30-40. The Czech has Stosur on the run and comes into the net off a decent approach shot. The game should be level at deuce, but Stosur's backhand clips the tape and evades Zakopalova's racquet.

BREAK - STOSUR 6-3 1-4 ZAKOPALOVA - Disappointment for Stosur who fights back from 0-40 to bring it back to deuce, but the Australin can do very little as she is out-hit, out-manoeuvred and out-thought. She'll want to break now or faces the prospect of a deciding set.

BREAK - STOSUR 6-3 1-3 ZAKOPALOVA - Stosur breaks back straight away. A real high quality game of tennis sees the two trading blows from the baseline. Neither of the two want to change it up and look content in trying to outhit their opponent from the baseline. The Aussie prevails as Zakopalova sends a backhand about three feet past the baseline.

BREAK - STOSUR 6-3 0-3 ZAKOPALOVA - This set is running away from Stosur at a rate of knots. The Aussies in the stands have gone very quiet, with Zakopalova making the most noise in the stadium as she hits winner after winner. There's been a real momentum swing.
-
STOSUR 6-3 0-2 ZAKOPALOVA - Zakopalova is seeing the ball really big at the minute and is crushing it. She maintaining a high percentage of first serves and is proving too strong for Stosur so far this set. She consolidates the break.

SET - STOSUR 6-3 ZAKOPALOVA - Zakopalova sensed she had a real chance to break back in that last game and, with it slipping out of her hands, so, too, did her intensity. She struggles from the first serve in this must-hold game, eventually gifting Stosur the set with a weak backhand slice into the base of the net.
-
STOSUR 5-3 ZAKOPALOVA - Stosur consolidates the break, but she does her very best to throw the game away. The Aussie misses a swinging volley at the net at 40-0 and then somehow lets Sakopalova bring it back to deuce. Two more game points come and go before a wicked inside-out forehand flies past the running Czech.

BREAK - STOSUR 4-3 ZAKOPALOVA - It's now Zakopalova's turn to have a mini meltdown and look towards her camp for help. A real error-strewn game, which includes a double fault and three unforced errors, hands Stosur an instantaneous break back.

BREAK - STOSUR 3-3 ZAKOPALOVA - A real wayward game from the Aussie sees the Czech level the set at 3-3. Zakopalova is up 0-40 in a flash, but Stosur digs deep and grabs two points back in quick succession, but the Czech doesn't allow her opponent any more. It's back on serve.
-
STOSUR 3-2 ZAKOPALOVA - Stosur is furious with herself as she appears to have Zakopalova on the ropes, but the 17th seed is guilty of three unforced errors that ensure the Czech holds once more.

STOSUR 3-1 ZAKOPALOVA - Stosur struggles through this service game, going down 0-30 before looking up to coach Miles Mclagan in the hope of finding some inspiration. It works, though, as the Aussie reels off four points in a row to hold.

STOSUR 2-1 ZAKOPALOVA - The Czech is on the board. She serves well to get to 40-0 but then a double fault and a wayward backhand gives Stosur a sniff of another break. Zakopalova ensures her first game with a pinpoint serve out wide.

STOSUR 2-0 ZAKOPALOVA - It's a real high-tempo start from the home-favourite, who is penetrating the court with powerful ground strokes. Zakopalova can't keep up with her at the minute. The home crowd are in full voice.

BREAK - STOSUR 1-0 ZAKOPALOVA - Great start for Stosur who has her opponent on the back foot with some ferocious hitting on the return. It takes her two attempts, but the Aussie gets the break in the match's first game.
