Good morning! The women's doubles match has come to a close and up next is GB hopeful, Johanna Konta, who plays Ekaterina Makarova in the fourth round of the Australian Open.

Konta 4-6 4-2 Makarova: Konta's holding well, though, and even though Makarova is pushing her she's not cowed by the pressure here.

Konta 4-6 3-2 Makarova. This is going to be tight. Makarova has held her serve and it wouldn't take much for Konta's lead to slip. the two seem pretty evenly matched, though Makarova certainly made lighter work of her serve.

Konta 4-6 3-1 Makarova. It was starting to look like Konta was not long for this match, but she's turned it around nicely. Still hitting strongly and covering the court really well.

Konta 4-6 Makarova. A double fault hands the first set to Makarova.

Konta 4-5 Makarova. Makarova survives break point there to regain the lead. It's a shame for Konta who could've had that game.

Konta 4-4 Makarova. Konta's serve has gone all wrong, which is a bit of a shame since it's her super power, but not wrong enough to deny her that game.

Konta 3-3 Makarova. That was unfortunate. Konta still looks very strong, but she hits the net to give the game to Makarova and loses her early lead.

Konta 3-2 Makarova. Someone's tired... Makarova yells in frustration. Yes, it did go on a bit that game, I agree.

An optimistic fan, perhaps

Konta 3-1 Makarova. Konta has to fight to keep her serve, but Makarova hits the net again, and Konta holds on.

Raonic 6-4 6-3 5-7 4-5 Wawrinka. We've been on court for three hours now. It could be another hour if Raonic doesn't break Wawrinka's serve, now.

Konta 2-1 Makarova. Much like her third round game, really good opening from Konta, who gets the early break. She's hitting really well, with a lot of power.

Konta 1-1 Makarova. Makarova held her serve in the first game. Into the second and Konta is struggling a bit with her first serve. But she hits an ace to gain advantage and capitalises on an error by Makarova. Both survive break points in their opening serves.

Johanna Konta, who's had a spectacularly successful six months, has levelled her pervious best Grand Slam result - 4th round at the US Open last year. This is her first Australian Open, and what a start it's been, knocking out Venus Williams in the process.
