Tennis news - Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares ease into second round in men's doubles

Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares reached the second round in Melbourne after seeing off Roman Jebavy and Andres Molteni.
Murray and Soares, who won the men's doubles event in 2016, clinched a second-set tiebreak win 6-4, 7-6 (13-11).
The British and Brazilian pairing come up against Luke Bambridge and Jonny O'Mara next.
Britain's Ken and Neal Skupski also progressed. They came through in straight sets to beat James Duckworth and Jordan Thompson 6-3, 6-4.
Next up for them in the second round are Finland's Henri Kontinen and Australian John Peers.
Britain's Joe Salisbury also remains in contention in Melbourne as made it through alongside American Rajeev Ram. They won 6-0, 6-4 against Guido Pella and Hans Podlipnik-Castillo.
