FEDERER 6-3 6-7 5-3 - BREAK - Federer is looking to sprint for the final stretch with two neat returns to go 30-0 up against the serve, but Tsonga meets the upping of the ante well, forcing two errors for 30-30. He then aces for 40 but outs for deuce. Federer takes two advantage points but Tsonga fights hard to cancel both out, including a great volley at full stretch for the second. The third advantage is the charm, though and Fed bellows with triumph as he clinches the first break of the set.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 4-3 - Federer claims the seventh without reply in just 1 minute and 23 seconds. We're getting to the point where one break of service could decide the championship.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 3-3 - Tsonga starts his third service of the set well, but a double fault brings it back to 30 each. An out apiece brings it to deuce, where a pair of Tsonga rockets give him game six.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 3-2 - Cracking first point won by a Fed volley, but an equally impressive return makes it 15-15. The stalemate moves up to 30 apiece where Federer moves ahead despite a Tsonga challenge and retakes the edge in this final set.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 2-2 - Tsonga's 10th ace of the match puts him 30-0 up en route to a sweep for 2-2.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 2-1 - Federer races to 40 up, and after Tsonga pulls 15 back he takes the third game.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 1-1 - It goes to 30-30 before Tsonga forces an error for 40 and finishes Federer off for game two.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 1-0 - Federer goes 30 up on the back of a pair of errors before completing his service with a sweep.

Tsonga's back out and the final set is about to start.

They're reporting that Tsonga has gone off court with a knee tweak. Be a massive shame if it hindered his attempt to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat here.

FEDERER 6-3 6-7 - SET - Despite Federer's challenge, Tsonga forces net from a great serve to move onto set point at 7-6 and smashes his way to one set apiece! Great comeback!

FEDERER 6-3 6-6 (6-6)- After taking the first point, Federer's first double fault makes it 1-1. Fed plays some masterful stuff to go 3-1 up but hits out for 3-2. A deft volley wrongfoots Tsonga for four before the Frenchman's challenge on 5-2 is in vain. Tsonga does well to pull two back and even better to make it 5-5 against Fed's serve. But a Federer ace puts him on Championship point but Tsonga isn't giving up! (cont)

FEDERER 6-3 6-6 - Tsonga comes back from 30 down to tie, but Federer powers two points to force a tie-break, just like in the second set two weeks ago in Paris.

FEDERER 6-3 5-6 - Tsonga goes 40-15 ahead and it looks like the comeback is going great guns, but Federer brings it back to deuce, only to have his advantage point cancelled out by a superlative Tsonga forehand. A powerful shot swings advantage the Frenchman's way, and he makes good on it to lead 6-5.

FEDERER 6-3 5-5 - BREAK - Tsonga brings the crowd to their feet, racing into a 40-0 lead against Federer's serve. And though Federer pulls it back to 40-30, Tsonga finally volleys his way to his first break of the match.

FEDERER 6-3 5-4 - Feeling the pressure, Tsonga dominates game nine and takes it game-15. But Federer is now serving for the championship.

FEDERER 6-3 5-3 - Tsonga uses a challenge on an ace which went out of the zone at 15-15 but concedes the game without reply from there, leaving Federer one break of service away from the title.

FEDERER 6-3 4-3 - The finalists battle to deuce, where Tsonga uses a challenge to claim advantage from which he escapes having another service broken and keeps the fight going.

FEDERER 6-3 4-2 - Two more games for Federer to retain, as he eases to game seven of the second set game-15.
