Hrbaty stays on course

Dominik Hrbaty stayed on course for his fourth title this year as he reached the semi-finals of Casablanca on Thursday. The Slovak overwhelmed eighth seed Oscar Hernandez of Spain 6-3 6-0 in less than an hour to set up a last four clash with Frenchman Julien Benneteau who beat countryman Thierry Ascione 6-3 6-4.

The two men met in Adelaide earlier this year where Hrbaty won 6-1 6-4 on his way to winning the hardcourt tournament. His two other tournament wins were in Auckland and Marseille.

The other semi-final will be between Belgium's Christophe Rochus , a 6-3 6-1 winner against Antony Dupuis, and Spaniard Santiago Ventura who beat Ivo Heuberger 6-3 6-4.
