NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 7-5 - DOUBLE FAULT FROM DJOKOVIC TO FINISH - NADAL WINS A SEVENTH TITLE AT ROLAND GARROS!
-
Djokovic initially deals with the pressure the better, finding length on his shots but showing a little hesitancy again at the net. However he hits long for 30-30... and Nadal then has match point!
-
A Mexican Wave moves around Chatrier prior to this game, which Djokovic must hold to stay in the match. Great atmosphere inside the place, and the threat of rain has abated - for now.
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 6-5 - Djokovic drops a backspin backhand down the line just wide then Nadal crashes his fourth ace of the match up the middle for 30-0. But from a position of power back comes Nole: first Nadal is angry that a shot was not called out – he did not stop the rally to allow the mark to be inspected – then his opponent arrives at the net to batter a forehand for 30-30. Nadal takes the next point and converts game point after a tense rally which sees Nole lob him - just long!
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 5-5 - Great response from Djokovic to keep this final going. Nadal throws everything at him but he responds in kind – and a big serve is mis-hit on the return from high up by Nadal to level matters in the set. And the sun is now fully out!
-
But they have manfully opted to restart! Game on! A break now and Nadal wins!

Just as they were about to play, it began to throw it down! They are waiting it out on court for now, shivering under towels...
-
Another quick court inspection, but we should be okay for now... famous last words, perhaps?
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 5-4 – Djokovic’s backhand misfiring while Nadal is looking strong on his forehand. The Serbian desperate to put his rival on to his weaker backhand, but unable to as Nadal is quick enough to run around the ball on this surface, despite its increased speed today.
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 4-4 - Djokovic surprisingly hesitant as he advances into an attacking position, but a poor defensive shot from Nadal put the world number one 30-15 up nonetheless. An error draws them level but back roars Nole, polishing off an important hold with a stunning ace on to the sideline.

The brollies are going up as rain arrives. Oh bugger. Can someone gain an advantage before play is stopped?
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 4-3 - Nadal imperious on the forehand to move 30-0 up but then sends one long. However it is a momentary blip in a dominant hold. /// You can watch the match LIVE right now on British Eurosport, or online using the Player.

NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 3-3 - Djokovic attacks the net to soft volley for the first point but hangs back more for the remainder of the game. Nadal executes a delightful forehand winner on to the sideline for 15-15 but a similar effort up the line drops marginally wide as the Serbian moves 40-15 ahead. And the umpire overturns a line call after leaping down from his chair to inspect the clay to conclude the hold.
-
NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 3-2 - Nadal sends a wonderful winner spinning sideways away from Nole's racquet following another huge rally to start the game. From there the hold is simple for the world number two.

NADAL 6-4 6-3 2-6 2-2 - BREAK BACK - The court is playing quicker than yesterday, with the ball bouncing quite high off the hardened surface. An error from Nole gives Nadal a 15-30 lead but the Spaniard then puts a forehand into the net. Another juicy baseline rally ends with the Serbian hitting into the net while in the ascendancy... and Nadal passes his rival with a backhand after a fortunate netcord! Back on serve.
