GAME, SET AND MATCH! - NADAL 5-7 3-6 1-6 DJOKOVIC. The reigning champion and King of Clay bows out with a whimper as he barely offers any resistance on his final service game. Djokovic brushes him aside and marches into the last four. He will face Murray or Ferrer next and looks almost unstoppable.

NADAL 5-7 3-6 1-5 DJOKOVIC. Nadal serving to stay in the match as Djoker roars through an easy service game. This is hard to stomach for Rafa. He's almost being toyed with here.
-
NADAL 5-7 3-6 1-4 DJOKOVIC. Nadal holds and someone in the crowd screams a few words of hope in his direction. It probably won't register. Rafa knows the writing is on the wall here.

BREAK! - NADAL 5-7 3-6 0-3 DJOKOVIC. It's all over bar the shouting on Chatrier. Djoker powers to triple break point but sees Nadal fight to save two. A typically robust rally ensues with a huge net cord benefitting the Serb as his shot bobbles over to leave Rafa stranded by the baseline. A double break and no way back from here.
-
NADAL 5-7 3-6 0-2 DJOKOVIC. Nole can see the finish line on that horizon. He looks to make it count while Nadal's morale is on the floor and consolidates with the minimum of fuss.

BREAK! - NADAL 5-7 3-6 0-1 DJOKOVIC. It's looking bleak for Rafa. The nine-time champion is on the ropes and Djoker goes in for the kill. Two break opportunities immediately present themselves. The Spaniard rallies to save them but then undoes all of his good work by being broken straight after from deuce with a volley that drops wide.

SET! - NADAL 5-7 3-6 DJOKOVIC. There are nerves at both ends as Rafa goes for the winners - but can't pull them off. Novak works his way to three set points, only to get the jitters. A fourth comes along courtesy of a quite exquisite angled dropshot at the net and he clinches the game with a ferocious shot into the corner that Nadal can't return. It's 2-0 and the King of Clay is close to being dethroned.

BREAK! - NADAL 5-7 3-5 DJOKOVIC. The world number one has the first break point of the set at 30-40 but steers a shot down the line into the alley. Rafa recovers to take the next two points but can't finish the job. Nole storms back and piles on the pressure, causing Nadal to horribly miscue out of court. Novak will serve for a 2-set lead.
-
NADAL 5-7 3-4 DJOKOVIC. Rafa hasn't really troubled the Serb in this set. We are entering the business end now and you feel the world number one could be about to pounce...
-
NADAL 5-7 3-3 DJOKOVIC. Nadal hits back from 15-30 to take the game and stay on serve. Neither player has faltered yet in this set, but you feel Djokovic is in control.

NADAL 5-7 2-3 DJOKOVIC. There have been a couple of simple holds in this set - and this one follows suit as another perfect hold for Djoker edges him in front again.
