He showed great resilience and determination to comeback and silence the partisan crowd. It's been some effort to get to this point and he'll need to find his very best next up; he'll meet the defending champion for the a spot in the 2016 final.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 5-2 GASQUET. A woeful dropshot from Murray hands the game to Gasquet to 15. Is that the last hurrah for the Frenchman at his home Grand Slam? Murray will now attempt to serve out the match. The semi finals are tantalisingly close - what a road to the last four it will have been if the world number two finishes the job now.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 5-1 GASQUET. Andy is almost there. Gasquet pulls a couple of points back from 40-0 but can't delay the inevitable this time. Muzza one game away.

BREAK! - MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 4-1 GASQUET. It's surely all over bar the counting. Muzza breaks again. Gasquet pulls faces as his overhead is anticipated by the Scot and somehow steered beyond him. He looks beaten. The only one who can take this away from Murray now is himself.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 3-1 GASQUET. The silence on Chatrier is music to Murray's ears. He's ridden a storm - much of it of his own making - to move within sight of that semi final spot. He consolidates to 15 and looks to have quashed his opponent's belief.

BREAK! - MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 2-1 GASQUET. The world number two is on course for a last-four clash with defending champion, Stan Wawrinka. The Scot clocks up double break point and coverts on the second, cushioning a volley into the open court to finish off a rasping forehand deep to left corner he's facing.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 0-1 GASQUET. Murray has a chance to maintain his winning streak but arrows a shot down the line just into the alley at 30-30. Gasquet escapes with th hold to stop the rot.

SET! - MURRAY 5-7 7-6 6-0 GASQUET. Muzzard gobbles up the bagel with a hold to love! He takes the lead in the match and is one set away from the last four. A magnificent turnaround from the Scot who must maintain this intensity now to completely demoralise Gasquet and finish the job off.

BREAK! - MURRAY 5-7 7-6 5-0 GASQUET. Muzza rampantly marching towards two sets to one lead and a potential bagel. The Scot wastes a flurry of BPs but finally makes it count with a rasping crosscourt backhand winner.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 4-0 GASQUET. Signs that Murray still has a wobble in him. At 0-30 there's hope for Gasquet, but the Brit manages to hit back and consolidate the double break.

BREAK! - MURRAY 5-7 7-6 3-0 GASQUET. It's a double break! Muzza in control now. Important he doesn't let it slip. The crowd has gone flat and so has Gasquet.

MURRAY 5-7 7-6 2-0 GASQUET. Murray made to work hard but he hits back from 15-30 down to consolidate. Gasquet frustrated. The Scot will hope to keep it that way this time.
