Here's the moment Andy Murray sealed a straight sets victory over Juan Martin del Potro, and a bagel, with a fine backhand pass.

Andy Murray felt his straight sets victory over Juan Martin del Potro was his best clay court performance of the season. The Scot battled through an epic first set lasting 84 minutes and looked like last year's Murray by the third, which he won 6-0.

While play is suspended, here's a reminder of the biggest moment from Andy Murray's straight sets win over Juan Martin Del Potro earlier today. The Argentine was left slumped over the net after a marginal line call sealed victory for Murray in the first set tie-break. Turning point?

Can't argue with that...

And congratulations on this morning's win, chaps...

John Isner or Karen Khachanov next up for Murray...

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 6-0 DEL POTRO: That's it! Murray wins it with a backhand down the line to seal a straight sets victory. His tie-break triumph in a gruelling first set was decisive and the World No.1 heads into Round 4 in a much better frame of mind than he was a week ago.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 5-0 DEL POTRO: One of the shots of the match! Del Potro sends Murray sprawling with a fine backhand into the corner but the World No.1 responds with a superb reaching forehand to win the point. The crowd and still behind Del Potro but Murray is just too good.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 5-0 DEL POTRO: Murray breaks again, sealing the game with a brilliant drop-shot and lob combo. He's been made to work for it but the Scot is closing in on a place in Round 4. Serving for the match.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 4-0 DEL POTRO: Murray in complete control and he starts the fifth game of this set with a thumping forehand winner. Del Potro serving to avoid a whitewash now. Murray aiming to finish this off.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 3-0 DEL POTRO: Murray is closing in on victory now. Unlike in the second set, he secures consecutive breaks to give himself a cushion. Ominous clouds are gathering over Roland Garros and the weather is more likely than Del Potro to stop Murray wrapping this up soon.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 2-0 DEL PORTO: Two sets and now 2-0 for Murray. He breaks Del Potro and then follows it up with a confident hold. Crucial service game for Del Potro coming up.

MURRAY 7-6 7-5 DEL POTRO: Murray seals the second set with a thunderous ace down the middle. Only once has Del Potro come from two sets down to win but that's what he'll have to do to keep the crowd on Philippe-Chatrier happy.

MURRAY 7-6 6-5 DEL POTRO: Murray spoils the party, breaking Del Potro, who makes a superhuman effort to nearly reach a drop-shot. The Scot is serving for the second set again.

MURRAY 7-6 5-5 DEL POTRO: We're into a third hour here and this game is showing no signs of relenting. Del Potro, facing three break points, fights back to Deuce. The crowd will go wild if he can hold...

MURRAY 7-6 5-5 DEL POTRO: Del Potro answers the crowd's call, breaking Murray in a pulsating game, which included a devastating forehand from the Argentine. No doubt who Philippe-Chatrier is behind at the moment.

MURRAY 7-6 5-4 DEL PORTO: Murray is serving for the second set but one of the biggest cheers of the day goes up as Del Porto wins the first point of the game with a brilliant stooping volley. Bit more energy in the crowd now...they clearly fancy another tie-break.

MURRAY 7-6 5-3 DEL POTRO: Murray holds after sending Del Porto to every corner of the court. He's looking dominant now and he'll be starting to think about getting this done in straight sets.

MURRAY 7-6 3-2 DEL PORTO: Trainer and doctor on for Del Porto between games. No treatment but he is clearly feeling the strain now.

MURRAY 7-6 3-2 DEL POTRO: Del Potro isn't quite the same in this set but the score remains tight after a decent hold from the 29th-seed. That game included a sumptuous sliced drop-shot from the Scot, who is increasingly looking like last year's Murray.

MURRAY 7-6 2-1 DEL PORTO: The Philippe-Chatrier crowd urge Del Potro to hold in the third game of the second and he does! Murray had three break points which would surely have wrapped up the set. But a chance for Del Porto to refocus now.

Here's that dramatic end to the first set. A centimetre wide? A millimetre? Hard not to feel for Del Potro.

MURRAY 7-6 (10-8) DEL POTRO: Drama! One of the finest sets of tennis you'll see this year (or any year) ends in controversy as Del Porto thumps a forehand across court and it's called just out. The umpire comes to have a look and it's the right call. Del Porto ends the set slumped over the net; Murray's celebrates a massive triumph with a trademark fist-clench.

MURRAY 6-6 DEL POTRO: This tie-break is an epic! At 7-6 and set-point, Del Potro tamely double-faults. Cue banging the racket against his head. He hits back by finishing a pulsating rally with a volley winner. Another set point for the Argentine...

MURRAY 6-6 DEL POTRO: They've been playing for over an hour and a tie-break is the only way to separate them. Murray to serve first...

MURRAY 5-5 DEL POTRO: Murray is hanging in this opening set! He starts the game with an exquisite, inch-perfect lob to the baseline but some erratic forehands let the Argentine back into it. Couple of grimaces and 'sssshhhh' signs from the Scot.

MURRAY 4-5 DEL POTRO: A story of this set has been Del Potro's monstrous forehand but, oddly, he wildly overhits one on set point, helping Murray to hold. Regardless, Del Porto is now preparing to serve for the opening set...

MURRAY 3-5 DEL POTRO: Del Potro turns on the style, saving two break points and playing perfectly from 15-40. He then demonstrates great feet for a big man by nonchalantly flicking a dead ball off the court.

MURRAY 1-3 DEL POTRO: From 0-30 down, Del Potro sends Murray a message by fighting back to hold serve. Winner is a thumping ace out wide. Philippe-Chatrier still half-empty but this is shaping up nicely...

MURRAY 1-2 DEL POTRO: First break and first blood to Del Potro. Murray stares at the clay looking puzzled after conceding the game. He appearing to lose his footing slightly.

MURRAY 1-0 DEL POTRO: Strong start from Murray who holds serve with three drop shots. Del Potro, possibly struggling with a calf strain, has been made to run from the off.
