Good afternoon and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of Day Four of the 2019 French Open at Roland Garros. We'll be focusing on the second round match between Oscar Otte and Roger Federer. Coming up soon!

GAME, SET, MATCH FEDERER! An hour and 36 minutes is all it took the Swiss to get through to the third round in straight sets. Otte played well, but Federer came up big on the clutch points and that was the difference. 6-4, 6-3, 6-4.

Federer breaks! He has done that in all three sets. The two players sparred all the way until the business end of the set and then Federer cranked things up and broke to give him the chance to serve for the match. 6-4, 6-3, 5-4.

Love hold! Still waiting for the first blood to be drawn in this third set and Otte isn't blinking yet. He holds to love. This woul be the time to break Federer. It's 4-3 in this third set.

Nudging the scoreboard! Otte holds comfortably once again. The German still believes that he can do something in this match. Federer lands a lazy backhand in the net on game point. 6-4, 6-3, 2-3.

PICTURE: The most graceful player in men's tennis? Not for me to say, but yes.

Federer fight! Otte had two break points there at 15-40, but Federer won four points in a row to get out of trouble and keep this third set on serve at 2-2. That was a chance for the German.

Otte holds, Federer holds! This has been a very zippy match. Federer is quite noticeably trying to shorten the points and it's working. The great man looks in great shape.

FEDERER TAKES THE SECOND SET! Otte has fought well and has only been broken twice, but the points have been quick and Federer is motoring towards a place in the third round. 6-4, 6-3.

Federer breaks! The Swiss decides to play a couple of short, sharp points, coming to the net to stick away a volley on his second break point. Federer will now serve for the second set at 5-3.

Otte hold! It's like the two players are sparring ahead of the contest coming to a head at the business end of the set. That's the way things went in the first set. 2-2 in the second set.

Exchange of games! These opening few service games will be huge for Otte in this second set. He holds his first game relatively comfortably, but Federer is cranking things up.

FEDERER TAKES THE SET! Otte played so well in that set, but he blinks at the crucial moment, with Federer taking the first of two break points after a spot of panic from the German. 6-4.

5-4 Federer! Otte might have played this first set very well so far, but he will still have to come out and serve to stay in it here. Federer gets the job done with an ace out wide. 5-4.

What a start to this set! Otte is smiling his way through this. He has settled immediately into this environment and hasn't blinked yet. Still on serve in this opening set.
