SCHIAVONE 6-3 2-6 3-3 - BREAK! This crucial game goes to 30-30 as Schiavone double faults. She then fires a forehand wide to give Jankovic a break back point. Schiavone produces an awful lob and Jankovic takes full advantage to break back.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 2-6 3-2 - BREAK! Schiavone fires the ball at Jankovic and it takes three of them to finally beat the Serb. Double fault and it's two break points. One saved...but the other isn't. Jankovic fires an awry forehand into the net.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 2-6 0-1 - Good play from Schiavone as she volleys deep and wide. Her next return of serve though is hit into the skies. She pulls it back to deuce, but a Jankovic inside-out backhand winner hands her the advantage. Opening game of the third set to Jankovic.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 1-3 - Real pressure being put on the Schiavone serve. There's been a raft of deuces and Jankovic is quickly coming to the net to force errors out of the Italian. Jankovic comes to the net to poor effect this time and hits wide.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 0-3 - Immediate chance to break back for the Italian as Jankovic scuffs a half volley. Two opportunities go missing for Schiavone, the second a long backhand. Another chance and after a bizarre rally where both players are basically hitting it to each other at the net, Jankovic decides to play a winner. Another chance to break and she misses a very simple forehand. Back and forth the advantage goes, until Jankovic pulls her thumb out.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 0-2 - Schiavone picks up a short ball to hit a winner and save a break point, but Jankovic gets another after a terrific crosscourt pass. She hits a return winner to complete the break.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 0-1 - Schiavone threatens the break again here. 30-30 and Jankovic double faults for a single break point, but she hits tamely into the net. Angled shots left then right and another chance to break, but she slices a backhand again into the set. Jankovic bends a forehand crosscourt then the Italian misses an easy volley to give the Serb the game.

SCHIAVONE 6-3 - Two set points after a lovely volleyed backhand drive and she takes it courtesy of some old school serve volleying.

SCHIAVONE 5-2 - Schiavone passes Jankovic with a crosscourt forehand as the Serb doesn't do enough with her approach shot. Schiavone pings another winner down the line and it's set point...Jankovic saves the first after dominating the rally and the second is missed by Schiavone. Schiavone apologises for a lucky net cord, and another! Set point again...a 20 shot rally won by Jankovic and deuce again.
