The Serb pushes the Swede to Deuce and, despite facing game point, Djokovic claws his way back courtesy of a couple of unforced errors from Soderling, who seems to be rushing his shots at the moment. There's only one man in it at the moment as Soderling leaves the court to receive treatment on an injury to his right leg.

Djokovic weathers the storm and, in the blink of an eye, has the first set. He ruthlessly nudges Soderling onto his weaker backhand and clinches the game to love, and takes the first set. Is there any stopping the Djokovic machine? It doesn't look like it.

BREAK - Djokovic seems to have the psychological edge over his opponent here, as the unforced errors begin to creep into Soderling's game. Soderling drops his serve and now Djokovic can close out this opening set.

Soderling takes Djokovic to Deuce and, with the Serb off balance, produces a sublime backhand winner to force the first of two break points. But he squanders both and, somehow, Djokovic survives. Incredibly high standard of tennis here.
