DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 6-3 MURRAY - DJOKOVIC HAS DONE IT! He saves an incredible seven break points in that game, but finally gets there as Murray nets a forehand on Djokovic's third match point. A magnificent tennis match, and a great winner - but both men will be hugely encouraged by their week's work in Madrid.
-
Murray's had two more break points, but Djokovic has forced the error on both...
-
DEUCE! Murray earns three break points at 0-40, but takes none of them. Still game on though...
5-3
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 5-3 MURRAY - What a hold in the end! From 30-40 down Murray hits three absolutely stunning serves that Djokovic barely even gets a racquet to. Murray is delighted to have forced his rival to serve for it... despite having given up the break point with a tame double fault. Surely now, though, there are no twists left as Djokovic serves for it...?

DEUCE! Murray saves a match point at 30-40...
5-2
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 5-2 MURRAY - Crucial hold of serve from Djokovic, and it was a game that could have gone either way. At 15-30 Murray had a great chance, but he could only put a forehand into the net after the Serb hit his own perfect shot onto the line. At 30-30 a bizarre intervention halted play as Djokovic gets a time warning despite being ready to play; but the world number one laughs it off, and hits two perfect first serves in to put himself on the brink of taking Nadal's record of Masters titles.

BREAK! DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 4-2 MURRAY - Murray's head is down and his shoulders are slumped after a calamitous game of tennis in which everything the Scot tries goes wrong. Every attempt at a winner misses its target, effectively giving Djokovic three unforced errors to get the score to 15-40. And the top dog cashes in with an inch-perfect forehand on the first break point that lands perfectly on the line to bring the break. Murray in all kinds of trouble now - you can see that one hurt.
3-2
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 3-2 MURRAY - It's the world number one's turn to enjoy the respite of an easy hold of serve, as he claims the game both without losing a point and without ever looking out of control. Murray battles gamely, even running for a lost-cause ball at 40-0, but has no answer. Near-impossible to predict what'll happen from here on, but with Djokovic having won 7 of the 9 deciders between these two the world number one is favourite.
2-2
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 2-2 MURRAY - A massive hold of serve from Murray, who breezes to 40-0... only to double fault, then hit a terrible second serve that sits up to gift Djokovic a winner. The Scot digs deep though, and pulls out a thundering ace down the centre to close out the game.

BREAK! DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 2-1 MURRAY - This match just keeps on twisting! Djokovic looks in charge at the start of the game, but those errors creep in again and again, and before the Serb knows it he's 30-40 down. After a poor first serve, he tries another of those big second serves to get himself out of trouble... and ends up giving away the break with a double fault, for the second time in the match.

Djokovic glares in triumph and shakes his fist after winning that game, with perhaps his finest tennis of the match so far. As you'd expect he's responded brilliantly to Murray getting back into this match...

BREAK! DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 2-0 MURRAY - Huge swing back towards Djokovic! An epic opening point that goes well beyond 20 shots appears to have gone Murray's way as his wonderful backhand lob on the run sees Djokovic poke the ball back over tamely; but Murray nets his forehand, and the lost point seems to hit hard. A subsequent error from Murray and a wondrous drop-shot at the net from Djokovic - after Murray appeared to have done enough with his own drop-shot - gives up two break points. And the break comes at the first of them as Murray goes long with a lob while being bullied all around the court.
1-0
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 1-0 MURRAY - Djokovic plays a staggeringly ballsy second serve into Murray's body at full pace to get to advantage, then nails his first serve on the next. Murray can only chip it back, and the Serb charges in to clatter home a forehand winner.
0-0
DEUCE! Djokovic rattles his way to 40-0 on serve, seemingly back in his groove, only for some of those errors to slip back in as he lets Murray all the way back into the game... A chance here for Murray...

DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-6 MURRAY - A classic Murray v Djokovic wobble appears to be on the cards as Murray nets tamely to lose the first service point - but thereafter he scarcely puts a foot wrong, even winning an outlandish point at 30-15 as Djokovic smashes a perfect shot at Murray's feet that the Scot digs out with a half-volley that totally wrong-foots the world number one. A magnificent drop-shot from the baseline wraps it up in style; the crowd love it as the entertainment continues. And what entertainment it has been in that second set.
3-5
DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-5 MURRAY - Novak digs in there, with the only blemish a weak backhand into the net, as he races to 40-15 with some great shotmaking. A winner down the line misses the mark on the first game point, but a forehand out wide - which Murray gets to in absurd fashion - sets up a smash winner. World number one re-establishing his equilibrium.
