DJOKOVIC 6-2 7-6(1) - GAME, SET & MATCH - Djokovic is through to yet another semi-final as he peppers the baseline, eventually drawing the error from Ferrer (a forehand into the net), to wrap up a hard-fought win

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-6(6-1) - TIE-BREAK - Ferrer has still not given up the running, chasing a drop shot up the court. But Djokovic has just found another gear in this breaker and the ball is off such high quality Ferrer can only return it into the net to hand Djokovic six match points ...

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-6(5-1) - TIE-BREAK - Ouch! A poor challenge from Ferrer on the baseline mid-point when he is right on top of the ball, costs him the point when hawkeye proves him to be wrong. And an outrageously powerful backhand across court dips over the net leaving a diving Ferrer to volley just wide. And Nole is firmly in control in this breaker at the change of ends

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-6(3-0) - TIE-BREAK - A forehand into the net from Ferrer, followed by two great first serves from Djokovic that put the Spaniard immediately on the back foot, see the world number one get off to a cracking start in this breaker

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-6 - TIE-BREAK - Djokovic has to send Ferrer two metres out of court to level up at 30-30 on his serve and even then the Spaniard nearly manages to get the ball back in play. But the Serb does go on to hold when Ferrer sends a chipped forehand return of serve long down the centre of the court. This set, and possibly the match, will be decided by a tie-break

DJOKOVIC 6-2 5-6 - The crowd are frequently on their feet now, as the quality of this match just gets better and better. Ferrer winning four from five lengthy rallies in the game as he works his way up to the net and buries agressive balls into the court. Djokovic, having served for the match just seconds ago, will now have to serve to stay in the set after the change of ends

DJOKOVIC 6-2 5-5 - BREAK - Ferrer comes out on top of another brutal rally, Djokovic hitting into the net on the 41st shot of the exchange. Both player went from grunting on every ball to absolute silence during that course of that rally as the physical challenge increased. But it brings up a break back point for Ferrer and break back he does with a vicious forehand down the line, forehand stop volley and smash winner! We're back on serve!

DJOKOVIC 6-2 5-4 - BREAK - An absolutely huge return of serve from Djokovic is back at Ferrer's feet barely before he's finished he's recovered from his service action. And it brings up two break points for Nole. Only one is needed though as Ferrer sends a backhand long of the baseline after yet another lengthy rally. Djokovic will serve for the match after the change of ends

DJOKOVIC 6-2 4-4 - A quick and easy service hold for Djokovic slings all the pressure back over the net at Ferrer as this second set reaches crunch point

DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-4 - Ferrer is now winning a decent proportion of the longer rallies, pushing Djokovic from side-to-side and drawing the forehand into the net from the Serb to hold to 15 and maintain his slightly lead in this second set, albeit it only on serve

DJOKOVIC 6-2 3-3 - Consecutive backhands into the net from Djokovic reward Ferrer with a 0-30 lead on the Nole serve, but the Serb bounces back with four first serves in a row to level up once again

DJOKOVIC 6-2 2-3 - Ferrer produces a stunning forehand volley winner that even against Djokovic, who is so quick up the court, goes for a winner. The Spaniard rapidly reels off a service hold to sneak in front once again

DJOKOVIC 6-2 2-2 - Djokovic is beginning to look a little frustrated with himself now as he dumps a forehand into the net. Ferrer in contrast is bouncing around the baseline as he levels at deuce when Nole sends a forehand long. Another forehand long from the Serb and Ferrer has another break point. Ferrer squanders it with a forehand into the net and Nole goes on to hold with an angled cross court backhand winner

DJOKOVIC 6-2 1-2 - Ferrer does all the hard work in another epic point from both players, chasing the ball down all round the baseline, only to get up to the net and guide his forehand passing shot long down the line under no pressure at all. It sees Djokovic level at deuce but the Spaniard holds firm and goes on to seal the game to sneak in front in this second set

DJOKOVIC 6-2 1-1 - BREAK - Djokovic hands Ferrer a second break back point with a forehand error. And after another *very* lengthy rally, Ferrer forces Djokovic into a rushed forehand that goes wide across court. FERRER HAS BROKEN BACK!

DJOKOVIC 6-2 1-0 40-40 - For once Ferrer has the final word in a lengthy rally, racing up to the net and burying a forehand passing shot down the line, much to the delight of the crowd who have a growing amount of sympathy for the Spaniard. And he even sets up a break back point with a flying cross court forehand passing shot winner. But Nole saves it before thinking he's held with an ace, only for hawkeye to call the ball out.

DJOKOVIC 6-2 1-0 - BREAK - Nole flattens out his forehand and thumps a vicious return back across court and into the corner, forcing Ferrer to fling himself towards the ball in vain as the world number one eases through another break of serve

DJOKOVIC 6-2 - SET - Ferrer is forced into another diving forehand return of serve on the first of Djokovic's two set points. The ball goes long though, challenged by the Spaniard and confirmed by hawkeye, and Nole has the first set in just 32 minutes

DJOKOVIC 5-2 - BREAK - Another off-balance, running backhand goes long from Ferrer to hand Djokovic yet another break point. And ouch! A double fault hands Nole the double break and the world number one will serve for the first set after the change of ends

DJOKOVIC 4-2 - There is nothing particularly complicated about Djokovic's tactics tonight as he pushes Ferrer from one corner of the court to the other and waits for the Spaniard to run out of steam - something that takes 22 shots in the opening rally of the game. Djokovic loses his first point on serve on the fourth, with a backhand long down the line, quickly followed by his second before he holds when Ferrer sends a bouncing return long
