MURRAY 6-4 4-3 - BREAK! And Murray continues his trend of finding mid-to-late form in the set, again going from behind to ahead with another break of serve.

MURRAY 6-4 1-3 - BREAK! - Ferrer holds his own then breaks Murray's at deuce. He has first shot at seeing out the second set, which would force a decider here.

MURRAY 6-4 1-1 - Murray holds from deuce despite Ferrer clawing back the advantage from deuce on several occasions, even delaying his fate via a seemingly-desperate review which turned out to be spot-on.

MURRAY 6-4 0-1 - Ferrer starts with a hold, though Murray looked formidable whenever he was able to keep that serve in play. I'd be confident of at least one more break down the line.

MURRAY 6-4 - SET! And Murray shows a nice range of shots and winners to wrap up the first set with a hold to 15. Wobble in the middle aside, a good performance thus far from Britain's Davis Cup hope.

MURRAY 4-4 - Murray saves a triple break point, then another from deuce, before finally holding. That would surely have been the first set had Ferrer got him again, there, considering the momentum etc.

MURRAY 3-4 - Ferrer comfortably holds again to re-take the lead. Murray is back to square one.

MURRAY 3-3 - BREAK! Ferrer then breaks back, and though it's some fine returns at the heart of restoring parity, Murray's terrible net at 30-15 for what should have been a simple volley finish after stretching Ferrer out will stick in his mind for a while.

MURRAY 3-2 - Ferrer answers back in style with a resounding hold to love. The absolute best way to handle having service broken early on.

MURRAY 3-1 - He does indeed hold onto that break of Ferrer's serve.
