DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 2-6 - GAME, SET & MATCH! Hewitt only needs the one match point, working his way into the net and firing an inside-out forehand volley winner across court. Hewitt is through to the semi-finals where he will face defending champion Marin Cilic.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 2-5 40-Ad - DelPo gets himself on the scoreboard at 0-30 down with a much better first serve that Hewitt can only return into the net. And another backhand error from the Australian (this time wide across court) allows DelPo to level at 30 all before he takes the lead with another super first serve. Hewitt levels at deuce with a forehand winner down the line before earning himself a first match point with an inside out forehand across court ...
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 2-5 - Two quick points see Hewitt go 30-0 up before he lets DelPo back into the game with a double fault. A sliced change-of-direction backhand down the line from Hewitt is returned into the net by DelPo and Hewitt holds for the loss of just that one point when the Argentine mis-hits a forehand. Del Potro will have to serve to stay in this match after the change of ends.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 2-4 - DelPo holds to 30 to stop the run of three straight games against him and at least vaguely keep the pressure on Hewitt in this final set. The Argentine found some of his better serving again in that game as the Aussie struggled to get the ball back into play.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 1-4 - Wow! Hewitt races through a love service hold, sealing it with an ace, to consolidate a break to love in the previous game. He is potentially just two games away from a huge win at this stage in his career and also potentially just two games away from yet another Queen's semi-final.

DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 1-3 - BREAK! Much better again from Hewitt as he fashions himself three break points. And he only needs the one, a great backhand return right on to the baseline catching DelPo still recovering from his service action and drawing the rushed forehand into the net from the Argentine.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 1-2 - Now it's Hewitt's turn to race through a service hold, to 15, in the process equalling the number of aces he hit in the previous round against Querrey - six. His tournament best is eight in the opening round.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 1-1 - Del Potro races through a love service hold, sealing the game with another big first serve that Hewitt cannot return in play, to put all the service pressure back on the Australian at the other end of the court.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 0-1 - DelPo squanders a great opportunity to earn himself an early break point in this final set as he guesses right on a Hewitt volley only to put his forehand passing shot wide down the line. And Hewitt goes on to hold despite a slight mis-hit, DelPo not able to adjust quick enough.

DEL POTRO 2-6 6-2 - SET! Hewitt sends a forehand return, off an admittedly heavy serve from DelPo, well long and that's the second set to the Argentine. It's all square in this second quater-final.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 5-2 - Hewitt holds from deuce when DelPo sends a backhand return (off a second serve) well wide into the tramlines across court. The Argentine will have the chance to serve out the set, though, after the change of ends.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 5-1 - A fantastic low backhand volley inside across court for the winner from DelPo sees him sneak 30-15 ahead but Hewitt levels with a backhand return winner down the line. And the Aussie earns himself a break back point with a backhand slice which DelPo can only net on the forehand. Hewitt nets his next backhand return though and DelPo goes on to hold to leave Hewitt serving to stay in this second set.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 4-1 - Hewitt recovers from 0-30 down to hold, earning himself a game point with the perfect wrong-footer on a cross court forehand. And from there the Aussie holds with a big serve to stop the run of four straight games against him.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 4-0 - DelPo has a little more trouble this time in holding as Hewitt pushes him to 30-30 before the Argentine can recover with two big serves to hold and consolidate the double break.

DEL POTRO 2-6 3-0 - BREAK! The match looks to be turning against Hewitt and fast as he finds himself another two break points down. The Aussie saves the first with a much better first serve and a cross court forehand winner off the short return. He also saves the second when DelPo sends a forehand sailing well long of the baseline. Hewitt, after squandering two game points, saves a fourth break point with a big serve but DelPo finally breaks at the fifth attempt with a backhand winner.
-
DEL POTRO 2-6 2-0 - Del Potro holds with ease to consolidate the break, a slight mis-hit on the final point of the game working in DelPo's favour as his forehand goes for an angled winner.

DEL POTRO 2-6 1-0 - BREAK! Hewitt drills a fabulous backhand winner down the line to take the opening point of the second set. But DelPo bounces back with consecutive points that see him bombard Hewitt with heavy ground-strokes from the baseline. And a huge off-forehand winner across court from DelPo after a 28-stroke rally brings up two break points. He only needs the one, a forehand return right onto the baseline too much for Hewitt, who nets his forehand reply.

DEL POTRO 2-6 - SET! Del Potro misses another forehand to gift Hewitt set point. And yet again the Aussie leaps on the chance, working his way into the net before sealing the first set with an inside out backhand volley across into the open court. A fantastic set of tennis from Hewitt, who looks so comfortable on the grass.
-
DEL POTRO 2-5 - Hewitt throws in a double fault of his own to squander a first game point and then, just like DelPo, a second immediately after to allow the Argentine to level back at deuce. DelPo goes wide with a forehand though to gift Hewitt a third game point and this time the Aussies seals it with an ace winner. DelPo will have to serve to stay in the set after the change of ends.

DEL POTRO 2-4 - BREAK! Ouch. Consecutive double faults from DelPo hands Hewitt two break points. But the Aussie only needs the one as he fires a forehand winner down the line to take the initiative in this opening set.
