We'll bring you all the action as it happens at Roland Garros. Korda has been very open about how Nadal is his hero, but they always say you should never meet your heroes. This is Nadal's tournament and he is once again seen as one of the frontrunners.

A routine victory for Nadal and the King of Clay who moves into the Roland Garros quarter finals. Nadal found the third set a little tricky and the scoreline certainly flattered him. Korda was competitive in most of the games, but Nadal's quality and experience told in the end.

Nadal holds serve after saving two break points and now Korda will serve to stay in this third set and in the match. The Spaniard has just turned the screw on his opponent in the last few games, although Korda is still competitive.

Nadal has now won the last four games in a row and 14 of the last 15 points. The start of the third set was a little sticky from the Spaniard, but the finishing line and a place in the quarter finals are in sight now.

A hold to love and a run of three games in a row has edged Nadal ahead in this third set. Korda may have missed his opportunity to take advantage of the wobble in focus from the Spaniard on the other side of the net.

Back on serve in the third set and the Nadal wobble appears to be over. Korda saved the first of two break points with a wonderful sliced drop shot, but sent a backhand into the net on the next one and Nadal levels up.

Nadal has been knocked out of his stride somewhat in this third set. However, the Spaniard digs deep after a couple unforced errors and a misjudged drop shot to get on the board in this third set.

Well played, Korda. He backs up the break under pressure from Nadal on his serve, clinching game point with an inside out forehand cross-court winner from the baseline. Nadal has a bit of a fight on his hands in this third set. Korda has found another level.

Korda breaks the Nadal serve for the first time. That was a bit slack from the Spaniard and Korda took the opportunity on break point at the net. That will feel good for the American. Can he consolidate the break to build on it in this third set?

Nadal takes a two set lead. The shot of the match so far was in that game, with the Spaniard sending a forehand winner down the line. Nadal had 0-40, couldn't take the first two break points, but takes the third one as Korda sends a forehand beyond the baseline.

Nadal moves to within a game of the second set. His serving has improved in the last few games. The wind has whipped up again and Korda just hasn't been able to handle that. Might they close the new roof on Chatrier if this continues into the afternoon?

Nadal is well and truly on his way now, grabbing the double break in this second set. A double fault from Korda at 40-40 handed Nadal the opportunity and he took it. The Spaniard is just two games awau from claiming this second set and all but taking his place in the quarter finals.

A couple forehands into the net and an opportunity at 30-30 passes Korda. Nadal keeps the scoreboard ticking over in this second set with a relatively straightforward hold of serve. Pressure back on the American's serve.

Korda is on the board in this second set. The wind seems to have died down a bit on Philippe Chatrier and that is allowing the American to be a bit more measured in his groundstrokes and in his ball toss as well.

Nadal consolidates the break at the start of the second set. There was a bad miss from Kodra in that game. The American opened up the whole court with a forehand, but then sent a backhand into the tramlines when it was relatively easy to win the point from the mid-court.

Another break at the start of the second set and Nadal is a set and a break to the good. Korda looks quite comfortable when he gets into the rallies, but the American is struggling to find his first serve. That's what is costing him at the moment.

Some trouble for Nadal in that service game, but the Spaniard gets the job done and clinches a largely trouble free opening set. The wind is giving Korda problems. Nadal is dealing with the conditions much better than his American opponent at the moment.

Korda has avoided the bagel, holding to love, but Nadal will have the opportunity to serve out this first set in the next game. It seems the Spaniard is asking for the roof to be closed on Chatrier to stop the wind from whipping up. If it's not the rain, it's the wind.

Very difficult conditions out there for both players, with the strong wind throwing up a lot of dust from the court. It doesn't seem to be bothering Nadal, though, who holds to love with a forehand cross-court winner.

A double break for Nadal and he is already in complete control of this opening set. Korda's serve is what's letting him down at the moment, throwing in a double fault on the first of two break points. It's very windy on the court. That might also be giving Korda trouble.
