KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 PAVLYUCHENKOVA Krejcikova has two more championship points after a brilliant forehand winner. The first one she double faults! The second and she seals it as Pavlyuchenkova hits long! Krejcikova, who was unseeded entering the tournament, has won her first ever singles Grand Slam title! She wins it in one hour and 58 minutes!

KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 2-6, 5-4 PAVLYUCHENKOVA A punishing forehand down the line puts Krejcikova 30-15 up before a delightful backhand kisses the line and it's two championship points to Krejcikova! Pavlyuchenkova bats off one before saving the next as Krejcikova fires long on the Pavlyuchenkova second serve! The Russian then has the same joy again to make it advantage before a Krejcikova unforced error into the net means we go to 5-4 in this tense third set!

KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 2-6, 5-3 PAVLYUCHENKOVA Krejcikova wins a bruising point to make it game point but she follows up with a disappointing forehand into the net to make it deuce. Krejcikova takes advantage then Pavlyuchenkova hits out to put the Czech one game away from the title!

KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 2-6, 4-3 PAVLYUCHENKOVA Krejcikova has really stepped it up, playing with more power and fluidity. She has THREE break points! She wins it on the first one with a forehand winner that Pavlyuchenkova was nowhere near! Krejcikova is just two games away from her first ever Grand Slam title!

KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 2-6, 3-3 PAVLYUCHENKOVA Arguably one of the most routine games of the entire match. Krejcikova emphatically wins her service game in the first love service game of the contest.

A double break point for Pavlyuchenkova. She fires one wide on the Krejcikova serve before an unforced error gets us to deuce. Krejcikova double faults for the fourth time in the match to hand Pavlyuchenkova another break point and this time she takes it as the Czech fires long.

KREJCIKOVA 6-1, 1-4 PAVLYUCHENKOVA A fierce backhand down the line restores Pavlyuchenkova's three-game lead in this second set and we look like we are heading for an enthralling decider. The overall quality of this contest has been far better in this second set with both players making far less unforced errors.
