WINNER! Ace number seven gets Federer out to 30-0 before he comes up with a big first serve and forehand winner combo to bring up three match points. But one is all he needs when Djokovic sends a running forehand into the bottom of the net, whilst he is on the backfoot
5-4
Djokovic holds without too much trouble, coming up with a cracking first serve down the centre of the court that Federer cannot return, to at least force the world number three to serve out the match
5-3
Djokovic sends a backhand just marginally wide down the line to hand Federer a game point but unleashes a bullet of a forehand return on the very next point to get haul himself back into the net. Federer leaves himself just one game away though as he finds a forehand winner across court (challenged uncorrectly by Djokovic). Djokovic will have to serve to stay in this match next
4-3
An off-balance backhand into the net from out wide costs Djokovic his only point of the game as he walks through his most straightforward service hold in a long time. And it's a hold that well and truly puts pressure back on Federer, who wobbled in that last game and only has a one break cushion now
4-2

BREAK! Hello, hello. Federer slaps a forehand error to hand Djokovic a break back point before conceding the game in a very tame fashion when Federer pulls a straightforward backhand well wide across court
4-1

BREAK! Djokovic gets ahead in the game with a cracking inside out forehand across court but Federer quickly levels up at deuce with a stunner of a cross court forehand of his own. And the world number three finds himself with another break point when Djokovic fires a cross court forehand wide. A bullet of a backhand down the line does all the damage for Federer, who then easily puts away the smash winner across court to seal the double break and surely grab him the match
3-1
Federer opens the game with another double fault but quickly recovers with two huge serves that Djokovic cannot return in play and the former world number one goes on to hold once again, without dropping another point. He is inching ever closer to a final match up with Andy Murray
2-1
Djokovic races through an angry game, firing the ball around the court as though he wishes to punish it. Federer hits long the and the Serb holds to get his side of the scoreboard ticking over for the first time in five games
2-0
Djokovic is struggling to regain his composure as he continues to shake his head after slapping another shot well long and Federer goes on to hold with ease to consolidate the break
1-0

A disastrous service game, peppered with errors, sees the Djoker lose his serve. It's from bad to worse for Djokovic, whose shoulders seem to be slumping a bit already.

SET! Djokovic sends a forehand long and that hands Federer two set points. But only one is required as the world number three seals it with his third ace of the day, a serve down the centre of the court that Djokovic barely moves for

BREAK! Federer dinks a great forehand sliced drop shot over the net to earn himself a 15-30 before slapping into the net off the backhand to allow Djokovic to level up. But Djokovic dumps a low forehand volley into the net after working his way into the net and that's the first break point to Federer of the afternoon. But the world number three gets another chance and this time he grabs the break when Djokovic dumps a backhand into the net. Federer will serve for the first set
5-5
Federer holds from deuce once again after a lengthy rally when the ball gets lower and lower over the net, catching the top of the tape on a couple of occasions before Djokovic eventually hits into the net. Tie-break anyone?
4-5
Federer takes the first point against Djokovic's serve with a great forehand approach shot that puts the Serb on the back foot, but Djokovic recovers to hold once again, without dropping another point, producing aces number two and three in the process. Federer will have to serve to stay in this opening set after the change of ends
4-4
Federer slaps down his first double fault of the day, quickly followed by an off-forehand wide across court to hand Djokovic a 0-30 lead once again. But Djokovic hits long down the line, followed by a consecutive forehands into the net (the latter when he had Federer at his mercy) and Federer goes on to hold
3-4
Djokovic holds with ease once again to keep the pressure on Federer as this set reaches crunch point. The Serb is serving at a 65 per cent first serve rate, compared with just 55 percent from Federer so far in this match
3-3
Much, much better from Federer this time around as he races through a love service hold to level up once again. That'll give him more confidence, although Federer doesn't really work that way - he knows what he's capable of and one or two tough games aren't going to change that!
2-3
A comparatively easy service hold for Djokovic, and certainly much quicker than Federer's last, as the world number three sends another forehand long to allow the Serb to hold. Pressure back on the Swiss player then after the change of ends
2-2
Federer hits a running forehand passing shot just marginally long down the line to hand Djokovic a third chance to break, but again comes up with the big serve when it's needed and follows it with a cross court forehand winner to save the chance. Djokovic gets a fourth chance though, when Federer hits long once again off the forehand, but it goes begging with a terrifically angled backhand winner across court and this time Fed goes on to hold when Djokovic sends a forehand whizzing long
