Berdych 6-1 6-2 6-4 Thiem. GAME, SET AND MATCH. Sixth seed Tomas Berdych has completed his very comfortable, very impressive win over Dominic Thiem over on Louis Armstrong to set up his quarter-final clash with 14th seed Marin Cilic.

Berdych 6-1 6-2 3-2 Thiem. Break. Thiem was forced to have the trainer out on court in between sets two and three and although he looks to be moving okay, he sends a routine forehand just long of the baseline to gift Berdych the first break in this third set.

Berdych 6-1 6-2 Thiem. Set. Berdych continues to look very impressive indeed over on Louis Armstrong court as he serves out the second set to love, sealing it with another booming ace.
Berdych 6-1 1-0 Thiem. Break. Berdych has Thiem completely at a loss as he forces another series of errors to break for the loss of just the one point in the opening game of the second set.

Berdych 6-1 Thiem. Set. A fantastic set of tennis from the sixth seed is sealed when he thumps another forehand winner to leave Thiem looking completely perplexed as to what he can do to find a way past his opponent.

Berdych 5-1 Thiem. Break. Berdych secures himself the double break lead with a quite outrageous flicked forehand winner down the line despite looking like he was barely going to get to the ball on the run. The Czech sixth seed will serve for the opening set.

Berdych 3-1 Thiem. Break. Ouch. An error-riddled game from both players but it is Thiem who is particularly troubled by them. An unforced forehand error from the Austrian sees Berdych level at 30-all before Berdych applies the pressure and draws back-to-back backhand errors to snatch the early break in this first set.
Berdych 1-0 Thiem. Not the best of starts from Berdych as he is forced to save an early break point. He does so with a big first serve that Thiem cannot return in play and from there the Czech sixth seed goes on to hold.
We are mainly going to be focusing on Roger Federer's clash against Roberto Bautista Agut but we will also keep you up to date with how things progress out on Louis Armstrong court for this match.
