For once, the Frenchman actually lives up to expectations and slices through the Australian. Make no mistake, this is some brutal and dominant tennis from the Frenchman. He quickly backs up the break and looks so close to another slam second week.

Gasquet 6-4 3-2 Tomic. Gasquet continues to lay on the hurt to his opponent across the net, flitting through yet another great hold and playing with such confidence and liberation. Tomic keeps close behind on the scoreboard with a good hold, but he knows his current level is far behind.
