It's Roger Federer time! The Swiss maestro is ready and set to get us underway in a tricky tussle against Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Federer 4-1 Kohlschreiber. Once again, the talented Kohlschreiber continues to showcase a whole lot of his ability. First he pounces on a Federer second serve with a combination of lethal forehands. He then conjures up another break point with a brilliantly improvised volley lob. But on each break point, Federer finds a brilliant first serve in a sight almost as impressive as those two second service games.

Federer 3-1 Kohlschreiber. Such is Federer's current level, it's already taking something special to get a game by him. The German pulls off a brilliant angled drop volley, and sweeps up his first hold shortly after.

Federer 3-0 Kohlschreiber. Practically before Kohlschreiber withdraws his exasperated arms from above his head, Federer is already walking to his seat with another hold sealed in a flash. Early days, but already some brilliance from the champion.

Federer 2-0 Kohlschreiber. The second seed pretty much picks up where he left off two days ago, flitting through his opening service game in a flash. Shortly after, he marks Kohlschreiber's opener with a violent break. The German puts his hands out in exasperation at the uneven shadows across the court, but his real problem is the guy across the net.
