RAONIC 7-5 6-3 6-4 BROWN: GAME, SET MATCH! An entertaining, if a little one sided match in the end and Raonic books his place in the second round.

RAONIC 7-5 6-3 4-2 BROWN: Brown flicks a casual backhand up the line, almost in hope than expectation. It’s the only point of the game he wins, however.

RAONIC 7-5 6-3 2-1 BROWN: Writing on the wall surely now for Brown as Raonic breaks through.

RAONIC 7-5 6-3 1-1 BROWN: Raonic pounds down another ace and Brown is getting less of a read on the serve now. Another comfortable hold.

RAONIC 7-5 6-3 BROWN: A mountain for Brown to climb now as Raonic takes a two set advantage by holding to love.

RAONIC 7-5 5-3 BROWN: Brown hangs in the set, holding serve to 30 but Raonic will serve for a two set advantage.

RAONIC 7-5 4-1 BROWN: Brown not giving this set up for dead yet and some more delightful shot making. Raonic does well to save a couple of break back points and consolidates the advantage.

RAONIC 7-5 3-1 BROWN: A powerful inside-out forehand forces two more break points. A heavy serve and ace pulls the German back to deuce but he undoes the good work with a double fault to concede the break.

RAONIC 7-5 2-1 BROWN: The Raonic serve really starting to purr now. He races to 40-0 before netting a simple backhand but Brown returns the compliment.

RAONIC 7-5 1-1 BROWN: Brown in trouble at 30-30 but a wonderful backhand volley on the stretch and a first ace helps him to hold.

RAONIC 7-5 1-0 BROWN: A quickfire hold for Raonic, now finding a much better rhythm on his serve than early in the first set.

RAONIC 7-5 BROWN: A rasping backhand return brings three set points for Raonic. Brown saves the first with a heavy serve but can’t save the next as a chip-charge forces the error.

RAONIC 6-5 BROWN: Raonic finds a lovely angle and follows up with a fourth ace to edge ahead again.

RAONIC 5-4 BROWN: Brown tries an outrageous behind the back lob attempt that lands just long before netting as Raonic holds on again to 15.

RAONIC 4-4 BROWN: A couple of return errors from Raonic that he will be disappointed with and Brown holds to 15.

RAONIC 4-3 BROWN: Brown so quick with his reactions, getting the Raonic serve back in play and forcing the error. Raonic fires a backhand winner that clips the line but Brown slaps another first serve up the line for a winner. The German looks really up for this but Raonic digs deep to hold with a smart volley.

RAONIC 3-3 BROWN: A quickfire hold from Brown to 15 and the crowd roar their approval. All square again.
