WAWRINKA 4-5 DEL POTRO: Del Potro mixing big groundies with deft volleys and he holds with a big forehand winner.
-
WAWRINKA 4-4 DEL POTRO: No real rhythm to this one yet, unforced errors flying off both rackets. Stan nets off his usually strong backhand to concede break point before Delpo hooks wide himself. Another deuce game goes the way of the Swiss and we’re level again.
-
WAWRINKA 3-4 DEL POTRO: BREAK! Wawrinka explodes into a big forehand but fires just wide on the opening point before Delpo frames a forehand way long. Stanimal gets the better of a baseline exchange before whipping a forehand winner and a sneaky drop shot earns two break back points. A big second serve gets one point back but he then nets a drop shot and we’re back on serve.
-
WAWRINKA 2-4 DEL POTRO: Wawrinka has had the trainer out to give him a leg massage. Entirely precautionary. It doesn’t phase him as he holds to 15.
-
Wawrinka in action.
-
WAWRINKA 1-4 DEL POTRO: Del Potro races to 40-0 after Stan hits a backhand wide and he then crunches a smash back past the Swiss to take a firm hold of this set.
-
WAWRINKA 1-3 DEL POTRO: A lovely forehand volley, the one that saved him against Dan Evans, gets Stan off the mark and then Delpo limply nets a backhand. One big serve and long return later and Stan holds to love.

-
WAWRINKA 0-3 DEL POTRO: Too many unforced errors from Stan in this game but a better return forces the big Argie to net for 40-30 and he then hits wide after clipping the top of the net. Delpo holds after a third deuce game. Going to be a long one tonight…
-
At this rate, a 7am finish!
-
WAWRINKA 0-2 DEL POTRO: BREAK! Stan the man follows in a serve on the opening point. A sign of things to come? A heavy forehand shows he’s in pretty good nick off that flank but he twice hits a smash straight back at the big man and loses a point he should have won. Del Potro gets the better of a meaty baseline exchange to draw level and then forces the error for a break point. The Argentine hits long but Stan then nets and hits long.

WAWRINKA 0-1 DEL POTRO: A couple of heavy serves to open from Delpo and an easy forehand put away puts him 30-0 up before a trademark Wawrinka backhand winner gets the Swiss into the game. A first double gets Stan level before a wonky backhand into the base of the net gives him break point. A couple of big serves gets Delpo out of a hole and a third gets him off and running.

Del Potro to serve…
-
Not long to the off. It could be an absolute belter. Boil the kettle and get that coffee on…

Is Delpo the crowd favourite tonight?

Will Stan keep his cool tonight?
