GAME, SET AND MATCH! - CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 6-2 SCHWARTZMAN. Pablo Carreno Busta marches into the semi finals of a major for the first time with a straight sets victory in just under two hours. He serves it out to love as Schwartzman's giant-killing run comes to an end. The Spanish No.12 seed will meet either Sam Querrey or Kevin Anderson in the last four on Friday.
Elsewhere, Murray is out... Er, Jamie that is...

BREAK! - CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 5-2 SCHWARTZMAN. It's a double break and that'll be that. Schwartzman fires long on the second of two break points, which were virtual match points. The Spaniard, who looks set to move into the world's top 10 after the tournament if he seals victory here, will serve for the match next.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 4-2 SCHWARTZMAN. Pablo just about holds from a lengthy face-off at deuce amidst a run of rallies involving the best tennis of the match. A drop-shot-crosscourt lob combo has the crowd rising to applaud the Spaniard before his body shot at close range is somehow blocked by a very deliberate volleyed lob from Schwartzman. It's the shot of the match, but he again fails to make the pressure count. Carreno Busta is closing in on the semis.

CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 3-2 SCHWARTZMAN. Diego giving it one last push to get a foothold in this match. He rampages to a love hold and will attempt to crank up the heat on the Spaniard's serve once more. If he does have any joy, he must convert the opportunity this time...
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 3-1 SCHWARTZMAN. That is a hugely significant hold once again for PCB. Not for the first time he shows nerves of steel to surge back from triple break point down and snatch the game away from Schwartzman. The Argentinean will have nightmares about his missed opportunities tonight. Time is running out for him to a 'Del Potro' and pull off the miracle comeback.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 2-1 SCHWARTZMAN. Some concern in the crowd that Schwartzman may fall away badly as he drops the first point on serve. They needn't worry. He's a real battler and marauds through the next four points to get on the board and keep within touching distance.

CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 2-0 SCHWARTZMAN. The Spaniard wastes little time in consolidating, blasting down an ace to conclude the game to 15.

BREAK! - CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 1-0 SCHWARTZMAN. That's a real body blow for Diego as he immediately drops serve at the start of the third. If Pablo backs it up then the fat lady will start warming up from deep within the inner sanctums of Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Elsewhere, some news on Jamie Murray #britwatch.

SET! - CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 6-4 SCHWARTZMAN. The No.12 seed has one toe in the semi finals. He recovers from 15-30 with two aces before outlasting his opponent in a 29-shot rally to notch up a second set point from deuce. A bullet first serve down the middle T finishes it off, leaving it looking bleak for Schwartzman, who has never won a match from two sets down.

BREAK! - CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 5-4 SCHWARTZMAN. Those missed chances are really hurting for Diego right now. He has a mare on serve, throwing a double fault to gift the Spaniard double break point. It seems to be a lucky day for the No.12 seed as he breaks a string before coming into the net to stab a volley into the corner. He'll now take a seat and consider a new racket before looking to serve out for a two-set lead.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 4-4 SCHWARTZMAN. That's a massive hold from PCB as Schwartzman sees triple break point go begging. The Argentinean would love to have the tame volley into the net on his third opportunity back, but instead he is left admiring a tremendous backhand winner up the line before failing to get enough on a second serve winner.
This match is bubbling away nicely now. Meanwhile, some of the other quarter finalists have been having a hit on the practice courts.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 3-4 SCHWARTZMAN. The world No.33 shakes his fist in triumph as keeps his nose in front at a key moment in the set. It's a hold to 15, but he gets a bit of luck as Carreno Busta misjudges a weak lob, losing sight of its flight in the sun, before tamely slapping a recovery shot into the net.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 3-3 SCHWARTZMAN. Pablo not quite clicking consistently. When he does he blows Schwartzman away, like on this occasion as he moves level with a crushing love hold.
CARRENO BUSTA 6-4 2-3 SCHWARTZMAN. That's a great hold from Diego. He barks out a rather loud 'Yes!' as the man Brad Gilbert has nicknamed 'Busta Move' skies the ball with a complete miscue. It comes after the Argentine had been forced to save a break point, following that up with lovely drop-shot-forehand winner combo.
