Alcaraz hits a forehand long and immediately goes to his bench and changes his racket, but this doesn't stop Tiafoe from seeing out the game and levelling at 6-6.

We're going to a fourth set tie-break - territory which Tiafoe knows his way round. He is unbeaten in tie-breaks so far this tournament.

Another scintillating rally and Alcaraz takes the point.

Tiafoe cannot return the Spaniard's serve and it's 30-0.

The American hits a shot long, it's just out and 40-0 to Alcaraz.

He sees the game out 6-5 and he is back to within one game of the final.
