GAME, SET & MATCH - ZVONAREVA 3-6 3-6 - Zvonareva takes a 30-15 lead but then gifts Stosur the following two points with a forehand error and a double fault. A long rally then ensues before the second seed can only find the net with a backhand. The Aussie is into the semi-finals.

ZVONAREVA 3-6 3-5 - WOW. What a comeback from Stosur. Zvonareva looks well on her way to getting that vital break as she leads 30-0 but the Aussie comes roaring back with four successive points to get within one game away of the semi-finals.

ZVONAREVA 3-6 1-3 - Stosur is down 15-0 straight away as he drop-volley lands wide of the tramline. She recovers well though, racing to 40-15 with big ground strokes. A huge return down the 'T' seals the game.

BREAK - ZVONAREVA 3-6 0-1 - Awful start to the second set for Zvonareva as she's broken to love. The second seed makes a number of errors along with Stosur producing two fine passing shots.

SET - ZVONAREVA 3-6 - Zvonareva's not too happy with herself as she makes a number of errors from routine ground strokes. Stosur takes the set when her opponent comes forward off a very poor approach and the ball lands at her feet.

ZVONAREVA 3-5 - Gutsy hold from the second seed. She serves for the corners and goes for the lines with her ground strokes. Only a double fault stops her from holding to 15.

ZVONAREVA 2-5 - Fine hold from the Australian ninth seed. Her serve is absolutely on song as she races to a 40-15 lead, throwing in a serve-volley. Stosur takes the game with an unreturned serve down the middle.

BREAK - 2-4 - ZVONAREVA - Stosur exerts real prssure on the Zvonareva serve, taking it early. The Aussie crafts two break points with a number of accomplished forehand winners. The first is wastes as Stosure looks to hit a clean winner off the second serve. The second is taken though, as the second seed sends a forehand long.

ZVONAREVA 2-3 - Stosur looks in complete control of the game at 15-0 but allows Zvonareva a sniff of a break with two sloppy forehands. A big serve and then an even bigger forehand winner bring about a game point. An ace down the middle seals the hold.

ZVONAREVA 2-2 - Superb hold from the second seed. She looks in trouble at 0-15 but fights back well. She produces a number of stunning ground strokes from the baseline and then finishes it off with an unreturned serve.
