Azarenka 4-6 6-4 6-4 Krunic. GAME, SET AND MATCH. A double fault and a netted forehand sees Azarenka heap the pressure on herself. She pegs one point back with a big serve out wide and an inside out forehand winner across to the other side of the court. And Krunic gifts her the second with a netted sliced backhand across court. Poor choice of shot from the young Serb. A sliced defensive backhand long on the next point from Krunic and it's match point Azarenka... And one chance is all the Belarusian needs, Krunic going just long with a forehand. There's a bit of a delay as the Serb challenges the out call but Azarenka was right there, she knew the ball was out and is confirmed as the winner.
Azarenka 4-6 6-5 5-4 Krunic. Two aces in quick succession help Krunic to a service hold to 15 and force Azarenka to stand up and serve for the match. Which she will do after the change of ends.
Azarenka 4-6 6-4 5-3 Krunic. A smash winner helps Krunic on her way to two break back points. Azarenka saves the first with a sensational backhand passing shot winner, curling the ball back inside the line after playing it from right in the corner, and the second goes begging for the Serb when she hits a wild forehand long down the centre of the court. A highly entertaining point from both players, brings up game point for Azarenka, the Belarusian just having enough height to put a hig forehand volley down the line after a fanastic running defensive cross court forehand from Krunic. Azarenka does hold and Krunic will have to serve to stay in this match.

Azarenka 4-6 6-4 4-3 Krunic. Break. Azarenka is very apologetic after a double net cord hands her a break point. Her backhand down the line catches the top of the tape and bounces straight up in the air. The ball then also catches the tape on the way back down which takes it just over onto Krunic's side of the net. And the Belarusian does secure the break for a second time in this final set, a backhand winner down the line again sealing it.
Azarenka 4-6 6-4 3-3 Krunic. Azarenka races through a love service hold, getting Krunic moving around the baseline and drawing the errors, to send a message to the Serb that she is still very much in this final set and will not simply fade away.
Azarenka 4-6 6-4 2-3 Krunic. Stunning play from Krunic as she batters the Azarenka baseline, drawing the forehand long down the line from the Belarusian to bring up three game points. The first goes begging on a double fault while a netted forehand wastes the second. Azarenka saves the third with a great inside out backhand volley winner across court and we're back to deuce. But a forehand long from Azarenka hands Krunic a fourth game point and this time she does take it, a big serve down the centre of the court enough to earn a netted forehand return from Azarenka.

Azarenka 4-6 6-4 2-2 Krunic. Break. The Serb seems to have the handy skill of being able to relax when she goes down and earns herself two break back points when Azarenka goes long across court with a forehand. And one chance is all Krunic needs to get back on level terms as she hits deep and waits for the error which comes on a netted forehand from the Belarusian.
Azarenka 4-6 6-4 2-1 Krunic. Azarenka looks to pull the trigger on an inside out forehand across court but can only hit wide to help Krunic hold and get off the mark in this third set, albeit a little belatedly.

Azarenka 4-6 6-4 1-0 Krunic. Break. Back-to-back forehand winners from Azarenka help her continue the run of games and snatch the early break in this third set. Momentum is firmly with a former US Open finalist now.
Azarenka 4-6 6-4 Krunic. Yet another double fault from the racquet of Azarenka - her fourth of the match already - doesn't exactly help her cause. But she recovers on the very next point with a trip into the net and a backhand volley winner. On the very next point, its a smash winner and Azarenka goes on to serve out the set and push this match into a decider.
Azarenka 4-6 5-4 Krunic. Krunic comes through a huge test as she withstands the pressure from Azaerenka and a deuce situation. But a trip up to the net and a backhand pick-up from the young Serb are sublime as she forces Azarenka into the reaction volley, which goes astray - wide into the tramlines.
Azarenka 4-6 5-3 Krunic.Azarenka fires down a huge ace to open the game followed, a few points later, with a big serve out wide followed up by a forehand drive volley winner down the line. Krunic will have to serve to stay in this set.

Azarenka 4-6 4-3 Krunic. Break. Azarenka does well to deal with the mix-up of sliced and heavy backhands from Krunic as she secures the first break of this second set when the 21-year-old Serb nets an attempted forehand down the line.
Azarenka 4-6 3-3 Krunic. Azarenka gets herself out of a potential spot of bother at 30-all with a forehand winner. It brings up a game point and that's all the Belarusian needs to set up the hold and level up once again in this second set.
Azarenka 4-6 2-3 Krunic. Azarenka pushes Krunic all the way to deuce on the young Serb's serve in a bid to apply the pressure. But Krunic is equal to everything Azarenka has thrown at her so far tonight and holds with a service winner, without having to save a break point.
Azarenka 4-6 2-2 Krunic. This is risky tennis that both women are playing and not high-perfcentage. Azarenka has 22 errors to 21 from Krunic but the Serb has 12 winners to just 4 from the Belarusian. Azarenka does enough to stay in the game though and holds to 30 to level up once again.
Azarenka 4-6 1-2 Krunic. An ace from Krunic helps her seal a second quick service game to open the second set, with Azarenka also holding serving in her opening game of the set.

Azarenka 4-6 Krunic. SET. Absolutely outstanding from Krunic as she continues to out-maneouvre Azarenka earning herself three set points. The Belarusian saves the first with a trip into the net and a backhand volley winner while Krunic error's see the second and third go begging. But the Serb is handed a fourth and this time she does wrap up the set, a great length backhand return putting Azarenka on the back foot right from the start and eventually drawing the netted forehand from the Belarusian.
Azarenka 4-5 Krunic. Azarenka steps up her level almost imperceptibly and earns herself an immediate chance to re-establish her break advantage. Krunic gets the Belarusian on the move though, eventually earning the forehand error and goes on to hold. Azarenka was a double break up but now she will have to serve to stay in this opening set.
