At 15-0 Williams sends Kvitova scurrying off on the backhand side, then smites a forehand into the vacated space before sending down an ace. 40-0, but Kvitova times a lovely forehand to get into the match. It's her only point of the game.

Venus will serve.

I wonder if Kvitova's swinging left handedness will be tricky for Venus at this point in her career. I think that it might be.

Bartoli is picking Venus, because she's at home.

I've absolutely no idea who's going to win this competition, because no one would have predicted the last four on the other side of the draw either, but again, if Kvitova is at it, she's the one to beat.
