Anyway, that's us done here - join me next do for Cilic - Nishikori!

Osaka says she didn't show much joy in victory because last time she did she cried, and people laughed at her. But we all know who's really laughing, and it's her. At 20 years-old, she has the potential to be very special - she's already pretty useful - and praises herself for not breaking a racket and for trying in every point, before saying she doesn't think it's especially hot. Ahahahahahaha!

Osaka 6-1 6-1 Tsurenko -
At a predictable 0-30, Tsurenko plays a lovely backhand drop, but that's all she can muster; two points later and in 58 minutes total, she's going home, double-breadsticked double-breadstucked. Tsurenko looked knackered from the start, but that's a brilliantly ordinary performance from Osaka. She plays Suarez Navarro or Keys next, and will fancy her chances against either.

Osaka 6-1 5-1 Tsurenko -
Will Osaka get nervous? Will she see the end and force it? Well have a look! Tsurenkz finds something and gets to 0-40! Er, guess what happens next; Osaka reels off four points in a row, and though she doesn't convert the first game-point, it doesn't take long. This is nearly did, and in the locker room, Kei Nishikori and Marin Cilic will be playing in more heat and less shadow than they expected.

Osaka 6-1 4-1 Tsurenko -
From 30-0 it's quickly 30-all but from there, Tsurenko closes out. The comeback is on!

Osaka 6-1 4-0 Tsurenko -
Osaka hasn't yet dropped a point when she's got her first serve in, and this has been a really mature performance. She's not going for the lines, or for maximum power, because she doesn't need to - instead she's winning points with economy of effort and that's another love hold.

Osaka 6-1 3-0 Tsurenko -
Tsurenko knows she can't outlast Osaka, and also that she's not going to win a battle of winners, but the latter options hurts less so she tries that. Guess what happens? It doesn't work, and this is not easy to watch now. Tsurenko wants to be anywhere else.

Osaka 6-1 2-0 Tsurenko -
What might stop Tsurenko chucking it in is that it'll be over shortly. Osaka holds to love.

Osaka 6-1 1-0 Tsurenko -
Tsurenko enjoys her easiest game so far, getting to 40-0, but then a gorgeous forehand topspin winner gives Osaka a sniff, and an unforced error - is there ever such a thing? - follows. Then another, and here we are at deuce; Osaka outlasts her to earn a break-point, but a second-serve ace saves her ... briefly. Osaka breaks from 0-40, and Tsurenko is looking like she's had enough. In her match on Monday, she was unwell with heat - not that Vondrousova believed her - and she looks to be struggling again now.

It's breadstick. Osaka is playing well enough but nowhere near as well as she can play and it's still way, way too much. She's a tar - it's so, so obvious.

Osaka 5-1 Tsurenko -
Osaka has been targeting Tsurenko's forehand and there's not been much resistance - she looks like she's been ten rounds with Thug Rose, in a sauna. Osaka breaks again and will now serve for the set.

Osaka 4-1 Tsurenko -
Another love-hold for Osaka. It's hard to see what Tsurenko's doing about this, between you and me.
17:25
Osaka 3-1 Tsurenko -
Tsurenko will be ganting to get on the board now, because she's been painfully outmatched for far and Osaka clearly has another gear she's not yet hit. It's really hurting Tsurenko, this - she tires a 91mph second serve, usually the speed of her first, then thrashes a backhand wide to go 15-30. Still, she gets to game-point, only to dump a backhand. Oh dear. But she gets there in the end, thanks to a backhand into the corner, and will feel slightly better for it.
17:23
Osaka 3-0 Tsurenko -
Osaka is into this now, and powers through a love consolidation, which, I admit, sonds like a euphemism for a dirty weekend.

The stands are almost empty, which is a right crock. If people aren't coming, give the tickets to kids for nowt. Anyway, Osaka is putting her points together nicely, moving Tsurenko around for the winner, while Tsurekno is looking to go down the middle, knowing she can't outhit or, er, outwinner her. Another such point gives Osaka break-point, but she botches a backhand; no matter. Tsurenko botches a backhand of her own after ceding advantage, and there's a clear difference in class at the moment. She also seems to be despising the heat.

Osaka 1-0 Tsurenko -
Osaka chucks in a double at 15-0 and is getting some serious pop on her serve already. But Tsurenko still battles her way to 30 before yergirl clinches the game.
17:15
It's Osaka to serve. It's hot. Very hot.
17:11
Tsurenko is 29, so is under some pressure too - it's taken her a long time to get here, and who knows when she'll be back? That's got to play on her mind.
17:07
As for Tsurenko, those in the know didn't really expect her to get this far, not just here but generally. Here we are though, and she'll fancy herself to cause an upset, free of the pressure that Osaka will be feeling as the favourite and general hope of the game.
17:05
And here they come!
