MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 6-4 - Murray makes it 30-0 with an 11th ace, and there's the 12th for three match points. And another! That's that, Andy Murray through to the semi-finals for the third year in succession and in truth it wasn't much of a contest, despite that injury concern.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 5-4 - Lopez cruises through his service game when holding to love but in truth perhaps Murray doesn't want to exert himself too much given that injury. The Spaniard secures the game with another fine backhand across court. Murray four points away now.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 5-3 - Two break points for Lopez on the Murray serve as a backhand overhead forces the Scot into a failed volley at the net. They are his first on Murray's serve but the first disappears when Murray correctly challenges a shot that lands long but is not called. Lopez lands a volley well, well long to surrender the second. After a minor wobble, he closes out the game to move to within one hold of a place in the semi-finals.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 4-3 - A great volley from Murray on the stretch but Lopez responds with a big serve on the next point. Serve and volley serves the Spaniard well to make it 40-15 but he double faults before Murray fires into the net to hand him the game.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 4-2 - Another wince from Murray but he appears still to be firmly in control and one of those lovely little drop shots has Lopez chasing in to no avail. He is having some problems on the stretch but takes the game when Lopez finds the net with a backhand.

MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 3-2 - BREAK - More problems for Lopez on serve as Murray meets a half-court volley with a lovely forehand flick down the line to beat the Spaniard. Break point, and he takes it with a combination of a fine return and clever forehand.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 2-2 - Murray neglects to call on a trainer so his hip problem can't be all that bad. Lopez, of course, has also had problems with his knee and produces a lovely one-handed backhand passing shot. Murray anticipates a drop shot and chases in to poke the ball down the line and win the point, but Lopez's next attempt is perfect. He hasn't had a break point yet and is denied that honour once again as Murray closes out the game.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 1-2 - Uh oh. A slip from Murray and he is wincing as he holds his hip. That's a concern. He doesn't show any ill effects with a stunning backhand that leaves Lopez stationary for 15-15, but then gives another wince, and an expletive. Now a smack of racket on trainer and he doesn't look too happy. Lopez pulls out a big ace to win the game.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 1-1 - A first double fault of the match for Murray gives Lopez a look-in and Murray goes long with a forehand when approaching the net to make it 15-30. The fourth seed responds nicely though to take the game.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 0-1 - Another fine return from Murray down the line and an exchange of sliced backhands brings him back to 30-30. Lopez responds with a big ace - only his fifth of the match - and holds despite almost being undone with a return across court.
-
Lopez requires treatment on his knee, which is already strapped. Perhaps that has contributed, but this hasn't been much of a contest really. All too easy for Murray.

MURRAY - 6-3 6-4 - SET - That was never in doubt, was it? Murray serves for the game and puts Lopez away in impressive fashion, much as he has done throughout this match. An ace takes him to three set points and he converts the second when a Lopez forehand falls wide.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 5-4 - The Scot benefits from a wild forehand from his opponent to go 0-30 up, but a cross-court backhand pass fails to find its mark. Lopez reasserts control as Murray attempts an unconventional return that flies wide, and chases in to meet a drop shot before digging out a winner. Lovely stuff.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 5-3 - Lopez almost inadvertently takes out a ball boy as he makes a dash across court but calamity, or a little bruise at least, is averted. The knockout blow for the Spaniard moves ever closer as Murray coasts again, winning the game despite a flukey net cord from Lopez. Murray wraps things up with a cushioned volley at the net. Clinical stuff.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 4-3 - Lopez encounters more difficultly and Murray prevents the hold with a lovely double-handed backhand pass down the line. Lopez takes the hold after Murray wastes a challenge on a shot that clearly hit the line.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 4-2 - Murray holds in emphatic fashion to 15, and he looks in firm, firm control of this match. The Spaniard is getting very little traction on his serve at present.

MURRAY - 6-3 3-2 - BREAK - A fantastic rally sees Murray emerge with the point thanks to an unconventional two-handed lob to make it 15-15. Lopez then misses a gimme smash and Murray takes two set points with another fabulous backhand cross-court return. He exploits the first for a second break in the match.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 2-2 - A lovely, streaky backhand from Lopez gives Murray something to think about on his serve. He responds with a sixth ace of the match, another big serve and a wild backhand from Lopez gives the favourite the hold.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 1-2 - Murray tries to be too cute with a volley at the net when he should have just put it away. He pays with the point as Lopez goes 30-0 up. A double fault allows Murray in at deuce but Lopez holds when Murray sends a backhand wide.
-
MURRAY - 6-3 1-1 - Another easy hold for Murray as Lopez fails to take any chances he gets on the Murray second serve. The number four seed holds with another shot from the Spaniard into the net.
