GAME, SET AND MATCH! FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 6-4 WAWRINKA - Federer wins the all-Swiss battle after coming from a set down to clinch it in four and seal a place in his NINTH Wimbledon semi final! Wawrinka pushed him all the way, saving four match points and going close with an opportunity to break in an epic finale before two big serves finally won it. The Swiss Maestro will now face Milos Raonic or Rafa Nadal's conquerer, Nick Kyrgios in the last four.

FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 5-4 WAWRINKA - Stan holds firm on his own serve to take it to 15 and make Federer serve this out. Fed's been in this situation many times before, but can Stan summon something from somewhere to create some doubt?
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 5-3 WAWRINKA - Fed survives a big wobble at 30-30 to see out the game from deuce after Wawrinka passed up the chance of a break point when he hammered what should have been a winner too long. Is that Stan's last opportunity to launch a comeback? There's a sense on centre court that it was.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 4-3 WAWRINKA - Stan isn't going away and he's ready to pounce if Federer lets this lead slip. Not even the distraction of replaying a point at 40-15 due to a wrong line-call can shake him on this occasion as he unleashes that backhand into the corner.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 4-2 WAWRINKA - When the big serves come back Federer is stepping in and despatching some delicious volleys. Wawrinka is still producing the occasional moment of genius but they are few and far between. A raking backhand gives him some confidence at 40-0 but Federer fights off Stan's most potent weapon before taking the game when the Australian Open winner steers just wide of the right-hand line he is facing.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 3-2 WAWRINKA - Stan fights back from 15-30 to sneak in front with a blistering forehand winner and a devilish shot down the line that wrong-foots Federer. The seven-time champion ties it at deuce with a sensational crosscourt pickup but can't deny Stan the hold as he whips down an ace and another big serve Fed-Ex can only stab into the net.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 3-1 WAWRINKA - It's a hold but it wasn't vintage from Roger. He's helped by the fact the errors are coming thick and fast for Wawrinka who fizzes a forehand he had forever to hit into the net to trail 40-0. Federer gives away two soft points but consolidates the break when Stan cannons way too long of the baseline.

FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 2-1 WAWRINKA - BREAK! Stan is staring into the abyss now. He misses with an attempted winner to give up two break points and then sears a shot long to confirm it. If Federer continues to serve like he has been for most of this match, it's hard to see a way back for the Aussie Open champion.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 1-1 WAWRINKA - In the blink of an eye Fed is level. The Swiss Maestro is oozing confidence and Stan is going to need a big swing to turn this result on its head now. But this is tennis and anything is possible!
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 0-1 WAWRINKA - Stan the Man responds to the setback of losing the third set in style, roaring through his opener to love. An ace down the middle T finishes it off in style. There is a smattering of confused applause as most spectators thought it was a fault! Stan shrugs and nods in approval as the point is confirmed.

FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 WAWRINKA - SET! Federer completes the turnaround to lead 2-1 heading into a fourth set. At 15-15 Stan is well in the point but overcooks it to the baseline. Federer lashes down an ace and then back pedals to complete a magnificent overhead put-away to claim the set with aplomb.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 5-4 WAWRINKA - Stan's level has clearly dropped but he is determined to make Federer serve it out, whipping a bullet of a forehand down the line to claim the game to 15. Whether it's the illness or not, Wawrinka looks uncomfortable out there.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 5-3 WAWRINKA - Another mistimed Wawrinka backhand puts Fed well in control and he forces another error into the net at 40-0 with a deep shot to the corner to consolidate his break and creep ever nearer to a two sets to one lead.

FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 4-3 WAWRINKA - BREAK! The pendulum swings and it's Federer with the momentum now. The Wawrinka backhand misfires at an important moment in the contest and Fed sees a chance at 0-30 before cannoning a sumptuous winner down the right side he is facing that just clips the baseline. Stan has fought off some pressurised situations already today but he can't stop the seven-time champ on this occasion as he whips a lovely disguised shot into the corner to grab the initiative.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 3-3 WAWRINKA - Stan pummels a loose ball into the centre court sky after drilling a shot too long at 15-30 following a scintillating return to set up the OP. Fed recovers and shows some strong defence under a barrage of backhands from Stan to lure the error and come through unscathed in his most difficult service game for a while.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 2-3 WAWRINKA - It looks like whatever the doctor gave Stan is beginning to take effect. A rare love service game for the Aussie Open champion concludes with a confident volley at the net. This is finely poised right now.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 2-2 WAWRINKA - No such problems for the fourth seed who flashes a wide ace beyond Wawrinka to take the game to 15.
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 1-2 WAWRINKA - A big hold for Stan the Man who is forced to fight off two break points before coming through under serious pressure from Fed. A deft pick up at the net and an audacious backhand get Wawrinka out of trouble to tie at deuce before he eventually sees off the challenge with a wide serve Federer raps into the net on the stretch.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 1-1 WAWRINKA - It's same old for the seven-time champ. Indeed, there's a real authority on show from Fed as he rakes down some more dominant first serves to claim another perfect hold.
-
FEDERER 3-6 7-6(5) 0-1 WAWRINKA - A pinpoint forehand winner and a wide first serve Federer can only slap into the net get Stan off to a flyer in the third. He's seen the doctor now and will hopefully be feeling better very soon.
