Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 6-4 Gasquet. Game, set and match. Djokovic brings up three more match points with an ace down the centre of the court. And this time he only needs the one, a big serve out wide being followed up by a trip into the net and a comparatively easy whipped forehand across court.
Djokoivc 7-6(2) 6-4 5-4 Gasquet fails to find the court with a weary looking forehand and it's a first match point for the world number one. The chance goes begging for Djokovic when he puts his backhand from up at the net long down the line. A cross court backhand volley passing shot winner brings up a second match point for Djokovic. Gasquet also saves this one, pushing Djokovic deep behind the baseline and drawing the off-balance forehand long from the Serb. Gasquet brings up a game point with a trip into the net and forehand volley winner of his own. A double fault allows Djokovic back to deuce but Gasquet brings up another game point with a great off-balance smash after a sensational exchange over the net. And this time the Frenchman does hold when Djokovic nets a forehand. Gasquet look absolutely exhausted as he trudges back to his chair but credit to him for forcing Djokovic to serve for the match after the change of ends.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 5-3 Gasquet. Another trip into the net from Gasquet ends in success when he finds the open court with a forehand volley winner to take the first point against the Djokovic serve. But the world number one recovers to take the lead with a sensational flicked backhand drop shot across court on the acute angle. Gasquet denies Djokovic on the first game point with a backhand passing shot, despite the Serb diving down to his left in a bid to hit the backhand volley. But Djokovic fires a backhand winner down the line on his second and Gasquet will have to serve to stay in this match.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 4-3 Gasquet. Great work from Gasquet once again as he brings up two game points with a delightful backhand pick-up across court which he follows up with a forehand winner down the line despite having to move backward to play the ball. A forehand winner across court into the open space on the next point sees Gasquet hold and keep some pressure on the Djokovic serve.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 4-2 Gasquet. The Frenchman is really starting to look deflated now, really for the first time in the match, as Djokovic eases through another service hold.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 3-2 Gasquet. Djokovic has a chance to level at deuce on the Gasquet serve when he has pretty much the whole court to aim at and plenty of time on a shorter ball up at the net. But the world number one loses his concentration momentarily and pulls his forehand long across court to hand Gasquet the hold.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 3-1 Gasquet.Another comparatively comfortable service game from Djokovic as he holds to consolidate the break and leave himself ever closer to that place in Sunday's final.

Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 2-1 Gasquet. Break. Djokovic thinks he's broken the Gasquet serve once again when the Frenchman's forehand down the line (after backing away from the ball) is called out. But Gasquet challenges and hawkeye shows the ball actually caught the very back of the line. It's only a temporary repreive for Gasquet, though, as Djokovic brings up a second break point opportunity with a very low forehand volley winner that he finks just over the net on the angle for a drop shot. And this time there is no doubt that aGasquet's ball is out, the Frenchman overhitting a cross court bachkand wide into the tramlines.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 1-1 Gasquet. A disappointing end to the game for Gasquet as he slices down on a high backhand approach shot only to pull the ball down into the net. The Frenchman had a chance to bring up a couple of break points after Djokovic's unforced errors saw him trailing by 0-30 early in the game. But the world number one has come through it once again.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 0-1 Gasquet. Fantastic stubborness from Gasquet as he holds from deuce with an ace to take the first game in a set for the first time this afternoon, despite yet more relentless pressure from Djokovic to get the early break.

Djokovic 7-6(2) 6-4 Gasquet. Set. No injury time-out for Djokovic, just a little work on his shoulder during the change of ends. The Serb gets himself into a little spot of bother with a double fault and a netted forehand. But he quickly recovers with back-to-back aces before wrapping up the second set with another big serve that Gasquet can only return just long of the baseline. Djokovic now is potentially just one set away from another Wimbledon final.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 5-4 Gasquet. Solid work from Gasquet as he holds without too much trouble when Djokovic sends a straight forward backhand long down the centre of the court. Djokovic will have to serve out this set after the change of ends, but not before the trainer has come on to have a look at his left shoulder.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 5-3 Gasquet. Djokovic leaves himself potentially just one game away from a two sets to love lead, sealing a hold to 15 when Gasquet pulls his forehand return of serve just wide across court. The Frenchman will have to serve to stay in this second set now.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 4-3 Gasquet. The Frenchman is doing well to keep some pressure on Djokovic, holding once again to keep the deficit down to just the one break. He needs to find a way to fashion a few more chances against the Serb's serve, however, if he is to do something in this set.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 4-2 Gasquet. Djokovic eases through another service hold, just waiting an extra milisecond to see Gasquet lean to his left a little before flicking his forehand across court for a wrong-footing winner rather than going down the line as it looked like he was going to.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 3-2 Gasquet. The wear and tear is beginning to show for Gasquet, who is taking a little longer to recover between points. But the Frenchman holds to 30 with a couple of free points on the ad side of the court and a couple of aces.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 3-1 Gasquet. Djokovic finds himself two break back points down after another backhand winner from the Frenchman. A big first serve and inside out forehand winner across court saves the first while an ace out wide saves the second. And despite continued frustration, the Serb goes on to hold without any more trouble.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 2-1 Gasquet. Djokovic lunges down to the forehand side to flick a squash shot style ball across the net for the passing shot winner that sees him take the first point against the Gasquet serve. The Serb then leaves a backhand volley with the Gasquet ball dropping maybe slightly closer to the line that Djokovic was expecting but it helps the world number one bring up another break point. Gasquet saves it with a fantastic forehand pick-up that he dinks just over the net for a winner, Djokovic stranded out wide on the opposite side of the court. Gasquet goes on to hold from there with a big serve. That was an important game for the Frenchman, a double break down would almost have seen this second set disappear.
Djokovic 7-6(2) 2-0 Gasquet. Djokovic races through a comfortable service hold to consolidate the early break, despite dropping the first point with a backhand pulling wide across court. A couple of aces help the world number one on his way to the hold.
