GAME, SET AND MATCH! - THIEM 6-7 6-7 6-7 VESELY. A hat-trick of TBs for Jiri Vesely sees him oust the eighth seed, Dominic Thiem in two hours and 45 minutes. It was hard on Thiem who contributed hugely to a tight match but couldn't find the formula to break down the world number 64's serve. The Czech took the final TB 7-3 and edges into the third round in straight sets.

TIE BREAK! - THIEM 6-7 6-7 6-6 VESELY. Nerves of steel from Dom. It's a love hold and into the TB we go.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 5-6 VESELY. Jiri earns himself the minimum of a TB as he stays calm to recover from 15-30 down. Over to Thiem. He must hold now to have any chance of turning this match around in the lottery of a third TB.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 5-5 VESELY. Fine battling from Thiem. The nerves are there at 15-30 but he is brave and conjures up a hold to stay in it.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 4-4 VESELY. Thiem saunters to a simple love hold. The third TB looms large on the horizon.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 3-4 VESELY. Thiem getting close - but never close enough. At deuce the crowd try to get him fired up but Vesely keeps his cool and responds to eventually slam that door shut once again.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 3-3 VESELY. The eighth seed levels it again with a hold for the loss of one point.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 2-3 VESELY. The Czech stays ahead. It's not eye-catching but it's effective. Thiem hasn't figured out how to make enough inroads on this beastly serve and as an ace flies past him he can't help feel frustrated to go down to 30 once more.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 2-2 VESELY. Thiem with another relatively simple hold. Shall we draw a line here and head straight to the TB?

THIEM 6-7 6-7 1-2 VESELY. Jiri doing just enough when it matters. He keeps his nose in front with a hold to 30.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 1-1 VESELY. Dom levels it up. He can't afford any slip now and he stays focused to hold firm.

THIEM 6-7 6-7 0-1 VESELY. Demoralising for Thiem. After the blow of another TB loss he hits back from 30-0 down to snare BP. He has his chance too but slices tamely into the net and Vesely recovers to get on the board. Everything pointing to a Czech success here.

SET! - THIEM 6-7 6-7 VESELY. Another TB speciality from Vesely as he sees off Thiem 7-5 to take a two-set lead. The eighth seed is in real trouble after playing pretty well for most of this match. Vesely led 3-0 before Thiem hit back to move 5-4 ahead before being undone by the Czech who took the next three points to win the TB.

TIE-BREAK! - THIEM 6-7 6-6 VESELY. It's TB time. Looked on the cards early in the set and wouldn't be surprised if that's the case throughout most of this match.

THIEM 6-7 6-5 VESELY. What a hold from Thiem! It's a rollercoaster from 0-30 to 40-30 and then deuce. Vesely has a BP but the Austrian seed digs in and denies the Czech a breakthrough which would surely have put him two sets down. Vesely must now hold to force the TB.

THIEM 6-7 5-5 VESELY. Thiem pushes Vesely to deuce but can't get enough momentum to force the break. All square once more.

THIEM 6-7 5-4 VESELY. Is it me or are we rampaging our way to another TB? Vesely offers little in return as Thiem holds to 15.

THIEM 6-7 4-4 VESELY. A rasping forehand down the line has the crowd gasping in delight as Vesely takes the game to 30.

THIEM 6-7 4-3 VESELY. Thiem holds to 15, finishing it off with rasping forehand winner into the open space on the right of the court he is facing.

THIEM 6-7 3-3 VESELY. The Czech does what he does best with more big serving to level it up. It can be a bit monotonous out there but it's not without it's charm.
