What a sportsman! I can think of other mult-slam winners who would not be so gracious in defeat...

DJOKOVIC 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-7 QUERREY: GAME, SET, MATCH QUERREY!! Djokovic is out. A wild smash sails long to hand Djokovic the crucial mini break on the opening point and wins a long second rally to consolidate. Querrey responds with a mini break of his own before missing a regulation forehand but hangs tough to recover the break at 3-3 after the longest rally of the match. Djocko looks nervous before firing down an ace to lead once more but an uncharacteristic backhand sails long then nets as Querrey moves to within two points of victory. Djokovic fires a forehand long to concede two match points, the first saved with a Djokovic ace but Djokovic fires a wild forehand wide for the biggest shock of many a Wimbledon.

DJOKOVIC 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 QUERREY: TIE BREAK! The rain delay looks to have refocused Djoker, who holds comfortably to set up a critical tie break.

It’s tough to know who to root for. A golden slam would be something very special but if Djoker loses, it totally opens up the draw for the likes of Murray, Federer, Raonoc and even Del Potro.

The players are coming back out to resume this titanic struggle.

The covers came off but came back on again moments later. Some umbrellas have gone straight back down again… So frustrating.

DJOKOVIC 6-7 1-6 6-3 5-5 QUERREY: Querrey will just not give up. A raking backhand down the line forces two more break points. He squanders the first but Djokovic fluffs a volley and we’re level again! What a match.
