GASQUET 6-3 6-4 4-2 BEDENE: Bedene still taking it to Gasquet and he forges a break point that Gasquet saves before holding on.

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 3-2 BEDENE: Not an easy hold for Bedene to 30 but a hold, nonetheless. He keeps in touch.

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 3-1 BEDENE: More sublime backhands from Gasquet and he moves ahead once more.

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 2-1 BEDENE: Gasquet forces break point for a double break of serve as the game goes to six deuces before Bedene eventually holds.

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 2-0 BEDENE: Gasquet consolidates the break with a comfortable hold to 15.

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 1-0 BEDENE: An immediate break. Bedene fights back from a precarious 15-30 but hits long to concede the break after the game goes to deuce. Writing on the wall?

GASQUET 6-3 6-4 BEDENE: A cute, angled drop shot from Gasquet is spooned wide from Bedene to bring up two set points and he closes it out with a serve that the Brit can’t keep in court.

GASQUET 6-3 2-2 BEDENE: Some lovely backhands from the Frenchman, such a joy to watch and he closes out an easy hold.

GASQUET 6-3 1-2 BEDENE: The Brit hangs tough with a hold to 30 with a successful ace challenge that clipped the whitewash.

GASQUET 6-3 1-1 BEDENE: Bedene loops a forehand long as Gasquet holds to love. He will get very few chances to break again.
