Djokovic can't take his first match point, attempting a Beckerian diving volley to no avail. And then Bautista Agut dashes in after a drop to flick a forehand over the net; it's called out but looks very in, and Hawkeye agrees. Bautista Agut then saves two more match points - in his box, the stag party is on its feet - but an ace quickly arranges another. The stag then nets a forehand, and off he pops to Ibiza! Novak Djokovic is going to the Wimbledon final, where he'll meet wither Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal, seeking his 16th slam and fifth Wimbledon.

Bautista Agut dredges up the strength for a love hold, so after change of ends, Djokovic will serve for it.

At 30-all, Bautista Agut again tries to finish a point in perfunctory style, chopping a drop into the top of the net; he's very nearly gone. And then Djokovic sends him into the backhand corner; he cannot respond. On the plus side, in 10 minutes, he's going to Ibizia.

Djokovic has his foot on Bautista Agut's throat, a sensational backhand giving him a break point ... which he's rather handed. It's hard to hit groundstrokes when you're being throttled.

At 30-15, Djokovic serves a double fault, then doesn't put away an overhead, but Bautista Agut can't take advantage and pass. The champ holds.

A huge rally to being the set, won by Bautista Agut when Djokovic goes wild with a backhand. Then, at 30-all, a yowl of anguish when Djokovic wallops a backhand return to a second serve wide. He gets to deuce, though, and hangs in another sapping rally before Bautista Agut tries a silly drop, from behind the baseline - patience, puff or both both expiring. The stag saves three break points, before finishing the game with a serve-volley, his first of the match.

Djokovic has hit hat back on and Bautista Agut should punish him with 0-15 but misses at the net, whacking it with his racket. This really teaches it. Then, at 40-15, it and Djokovic get their own back when he seals the set via net-cord, just as yerman took the second.

Good from Bautista Agut, holding to love. Can he get some returns in? Can Djokovic find some first serves?

At 15-all, Bautista Agut glides a luscious backhand slice across the face of the net and ends up with two break-back points. He ruins the first with careless backhand into the net, then after a colossal rally, Djokovic finds a backhand winner down the line! And two points later, a roar when a service winner gives him the game! He's back.

Here he comes! Djokovic finally sticks some pressure on Bautista Agut and a banging smash at the net gives him his first break point since set one ... taken with more of the same, after dictating a baseline rally. He's quite good at tennis and also quite good at competing. Time's up.

Nothing is coming easy for Djokovic at the moment, and at 40-30 a big cross-court forehand from Bautista Agut is too good. But quickly, Djokovic nabs advantage and seals the game with an ace.

Bautista Agut holds to 15, finishing the game with an ace. Djokovic needs to find himself - a trip to Varanasi, maybe?

At 30-0 Djokovic serves the first double of the match, but redeems it with an ace at 40-30. Nothing, though, is coming easily for him now and we're at the point where we have to entertain him losing. It's still only a theory, but Bautista Agut breaking doesn't seem fantastical at all, and Djokovic hasn't got near his serve in quite some time.

Djokovic gets ahead in a Bautista Agut service game for the first time in ages, then at 15-all gambles in a backhand-to-backhand rally, slicing an approach and finishing with an overhead. but Bautista Agut isn't bothered, quickly finishing the game and inciting Djokovic to swish his racket at the ground in fury. Lovely stuff.

Lovely from Bautista Agut, haring into the net following some excellent de-fence to flick a winner cross-court; he's enjoying himself more than any stag has the right to. Djokovic's level has properly plummeted, and he then messes up a backhand to give 15-30. He resolves the issue with an ace, a point and an ace.

Getting humiliated by Novak Djokovic in front of the entire world is one of the all-time great stag pranks, but currently the joke's on Roberto Bautista Agut's mates. He gets to 3-15 by outlasting Djokovic from the baseline, but a tight first serve allows his second to be attacked and yerman doesn't need asking twice, dominating the rally before ending it with a backhand volley at the net. Bautista Agut, though, hammers down a service winner, then pounds a forehand into the net cord and that is one set all! Djokovic, still trying to be Centre's boy, encourages applause from the crowd - perhaps some of it for his opponent because he is sportsmanship incarnate - and I choke up.

Djokovic hits a huge forehand to set up a winner but he holds back on it and Bautista Agut spirits a cross-court pass that drops just wide. Then, from 40-0 we end up at 40-30 before the champion closes out; the stag will have to serve for it.
