Angelique Kerber and Agnieszka Radwanska bid to reach the women's final at the All England Club.

GAME, SET AND MATCH RADWANSKA! Kerber wins a longish rally in the opening point of the game, but normal service is resumed seconds later as Radwanska teases the ball around with some intelligence. Kerber misses wide before missing long seconds later. A shake of the head lets you know what she thinks of that miss before she knocks a forehand wid to hand Radwanska two match points. Kerber tries frantically to extend the match, but is wide again. All over. A comfortable win for Radwanska.

Kerber keeping Radwanska honest by forcing the Polish player to serve this match out to reach the final. Decent stuff from Kerber, but this is now all about Radwanska as she tries to get the job done. A brutal serve from Kerber sees the German player head for her chair in a chirpier mood.

Radwanska one game short of the promised land now as she bullets a forehand beyond Kerber from mid-range to illustrate her dominance in this match. Only one point won by Keber on the Radwanska serve there. All or nothing at all now. She must hold otherwise her Wimbledon journey ends at the semi-final stage.

Radwanska beginning to show why she is world number three. Looking good to become the first Pole to reach a Grand Slam final since Jadwiga Jedrzejowska in 1937. Certainly looking a lot likelier than Kerber at the moment. More errors and more distress for the Kerber box as errors see the score move to deuce, but she drags herself out of a tight spot as a backhand winner from deep flies beyond Radwanska. Back to 4-3 behind, but Kerber will need a break to break Radwanska's march to the final.

Kerber lets out an almighty shriek as she gallops into the net to convert a winner after an attempted drop shot by Radwanska failed to drop in time. Kerber dominant in the next rally, but fails to come up with the winner as Radwanska races along the baseline to come up with a winner. Kerber gets the better of a brutal rally in the next point before bringing up a break point as Ranwanska dumps a forehand into the net. Chance for Kerber, but her opponent comes up with the goods to hold. 4-2 now.

BREAK RADWANSKA! The longer these rallies roll on, the better for the Polish player. Kerber bows out of that game dropping serve as an attempted forehand from deep flies straight into the net. The Radwanska forehand and serve is coming up trumps on the big occasion. Deep trouble now for Kerber.

Radwanksa is holding up very well on serve. Rips through that game with little or no fuss. A drive volley, a missed backhand from Kerber and serve sent spinning wide damage Kerber no end. All square again. Games on serve, but Kerber is trying to win points sooner in the rallies.

Kerber and Radwanska are gunning for maiden Grand Slam finals. If the winner of this match goes all the way to the title she will be the ninth woman in the Open Era to win her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, and the 42nd woman to win a major since 1968. At the moment it looks like Radwanska, but Kerber appears a tad more relaxed at the changeover. Beginning to hit the ball harder to get herself on the front foot in these rallies. She leads 2-1 in the second set.

Radwanska showing all sorts of agility and cutting all sorts of shapes as she comes up with the goods to level at 1-1 in the second set. Radwanska appears to be the more flexible of the two women with Kerber knocking shots in straight lines. All level at 1-1 in the second set. Games going on serve for what it is worth.

Kerber gets the second set off and running by coming up with a love game on serve. She stops the Randwanska winning run at five. Starting to relax a bit and begins to hit a few shots which she must do to halt her opponent's march to this final. First set took only 29 minutes. We could be out of here in under an hour unless Kerber sobers up.

SET RADWANSKA! What was I saying about serve? Radwanska throws down only her second ace of the set and the match to pocket her fifth straight game for a comfortable win in the first set. Lovely serve, and lovely movement all round as she races straight off court to change her shirt. Kerber left to cool down in her chair and wonder what might have been there. Randwanska up to 80 percent of first serves in with Kerber down at 52. Work to be done for the German.

BREAK RADWANSKA! Suddenly Kerber's racket is beginning to bleed errors. Not good signs with the Pole's ability to move her opponent around the court with ease beginning to hold sway in this contest. Only needs one break point to break for a second time in the set. She will serve for the first set having trailed 3-1. Serve has nothing to do with this match. It is all about court craft. And Randwanska has it in spades.

Randwanska winning 67 percent of points on the first serve, but down in the twenties when she is forced to go to the second serve. She gets herself out of a tight spot to fend off another break point for Kerber from 30-40 down with three decent serves backed up by three big groundstrokes. The message is clear for the Pole: hit the big first serve, and she will hit the ground running in these rallies. A 4-3 lead for Radwanska.

BREAK RADWANSKA! We are back on serve. Trying to predict women's tennis is like trying to predict the British weather. A mug's game. Kerber starts superbly, but Randwanska is right back in this encounter. First break point of the match for Radwanska as she moves Kerber around the court before drilling a forehand beyond her despairing opponent. Kerber dumps a forehand into the net seconds later and this match is level at 3-3.

Much, much better from Radwanska as she scurries back to her chair to grab a slug of water having held serve to trail 3-2. Kerber remains a break up, but there is plenty of life in this first set to come. One of Radwanska's supporters in the family, agents and relatives box at Wimbers is wearing a Poland football scarf. Let us hope she gets on better today than her country at Euro 2012.

Kerber settling in well out there. Certainly looks a lot more comfy with her surroundings than the Polish lady as she cements the break with some heavy hitting from deep in the court. Interesting to note that Kerber has won both of their meetings on hard courts which may well be similar conditions to how the grass is playing these days.

BREAK KERBER! Not exactly a huge serve from either women, but Polish hopeful Radwanska is the first lady to run into a bit of a problem with balls in her hand. Fails to get the first serve in trailing 30-40 then misses in attempting an ill-advised drop shot from the baseline seconds later that floats wide to hand Kerber first blood so to speak. Won't be the first break of this match one would suggest.

Anything you can do, I can do at least as well. A love game from Kerber to even up at 1-1. We remain on serve with German Kerber unloading the left hand and coming up with a thrilling winner on the back hand across court. A fast start by both women. We are all level on Centre Court.

Radwanska pockets the opening game on serve without dropping a point. A lovely game to get the action off and running. Radwanska moving well and starting to unload the forehand from deep in the court.

These women locked at 2-2 in career meetings. Nothing to split them. Have yet to meet on grass. Radwanska to serve in the opening game of the match.
